NFL 2014-2015 LD

Actually iirc, a false start usually leads to a 10-second runoff of the game clock if the team has no TOs and it's under 2-minutes left in the game. I remember this fucked Pittsburgh when they played the Falcons a couple of years back. But it doesn't matter, if our sorry ass defense wants to allow a TD from 3rd and 25 and allow Detroit to march down the field from the 6 with no TOs left. Also, for us to commit every penalty in the book on offense to make sure they have time left, then Detroit should be allowed to win the game if the Falcons deem it so.

That's where the "Game clock was stopped" thing comes into play. The 10 second run-off only happens if the game clock is still moving. Unless I'm mistaken.

Man, the Saints decided to wake up at the perfect time. All NFC South teams had devastating, heartbreaking losses today.

If we can beat Carolina Thursday then our season has done a complete 180 in just a matter of 4 days. Thank you for sucking ass, NFC South Division.

And professional football just gets better, all these weeks of losing I had just one saving grace, at least the Saints were losing also. Well, at least someone is finally winning in this sorry ass division so I can stop having hope.

It might have been five yards further away, but the essence remains. The Lions got a second chance to win the game because they gave away a penalty.

That is bullshit.

Here's the thing, on a delay of game penalty, that means the refs blew the play dead. A kicker hears a whistle just as he's about to kick, you don't think that effects the kick? Of course it does, which is why this rule will never change.

It's the same thing with fumbling after the ref called the play dead due to forward progress being stopped. You assume the guy let his guard down because he heard the whistle. Well here, you have to assume that Prater may have missed because the whistle distracted him.

It's snowing in Foxborough. Let's just save everyone's time and give Peyton Manning the loss along with a couple interceptions. It'll probably be loud too, and Manning can't abuse New England's scoreboard guy, so it'll be even tougher for Peyton.

Maybe Manning will prove me wrong, and all he'll do is choke in clutch time to throw away the win. Then again this isn't the playoffs so he should probably be OK.

GOD FORBID somebody sneeze on RG3 and get called for a penalty. Good lord what a horrible call.

Hard to get excited about a win over the Jets but when coupled with San Diego getting absolutely destroyed by Miami, it's been a good day.

We're not dead at 4-5, but man I'd like to have that Bills game back with a W, we'd be 5-4 instead.

What the hell is up with Seattle? Oakland is actually hanging with them, in Seattle on top of it.

lol Steelers.

Fuck this division. Either this is iron sharpening iron and the AFC North's best team will win the Super Bowl, or all four teams are just the worst kind of football Jekylls and Hydes.

That Jimmy Graham push was more egregious than the one called on Steve Smith in the last Ravens/Bengals game, but that was a definite sell job by the DB. Blatant on replay, but then again so is holding. Can't blame these DBs for flopping. It actually kinda evens the playing field from a lawyer ball perspective.

Roethlisberger throws 6 TDs 2 games in a row and throws 1 against the team that has let up the most passing TDs in the league coming into the game. I don't know how that's possible.
