NFL 2014-2015 LD

Roethlisberger throws 6 TDs 2 games in a row and throws 1 against the team that has let up the most passing TDs in the league coming into the game. I don't know how that's possible.

I don't understand the Steelers. They always play good against good teams, and then go out and suck big time against teams with bad records. They've been doing it since the Cowher days.

Yeah, it's almost as if they just look past the shitty teams & don't prepare for them at all, then end get embarrassed by those teams every damn time.

I think the problem is Tomlin is too passive. He's way too laid back of a guy, not a lot of discipline in his coaching style.

The Steelers had been playing aggressively the last two weeks, and then they went back to that conservative dink and dunk stuff for most of this game against the Jets. I guess they figured with the Jets being a bad team they could get away with it.

If the Steelers want to continue to be successful, they need to keep playing that aggressive way they were playing against the Colts and Ravens. Throwing the ball down the field. And on defense sending more guys than three to pressure the QB.

Bull. That player's coach label follows him only because he's young, black, and personable. It's like Raheem Morris ruined it for everyone. A "laid back" coach doesn't ban all games from the locker room or literally jump onto the field to interfere with a play. This guy has helped keep an aging, rebuilding-on-the-fly team highly competitive after setting a ridiculously high bar for himself by winning one of those Lombardi things. Myself and a slew of others knocked the Haley hire, and now that's working out when the offense executes. I'm the exact opposite of a Steelers fan, and, much to my chagrin, Tomlin has done a great job.

That's precisely it. The team and staff took them lightly, not to mention that, despite evidence to the contrary, the New York Jets are still an NFL football team. The old "any given Sunday" adage held true.

Even relentlessly aggressive offenses get stymied. Ben Roethlisberger was never going to keep up that pace, and Rex Ryan has seen Ben and co. a time or two. I hope I'm wrong, but I think they'll be fine.

The first half of the season though the penalties that team had were out of control. Not penalties like holding and stuff, but for like three straight weeks they got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Doing things like over celebrating and stuff.

My biggest problem however is the fact that I'm fairly certain he played a big role in firing Bruce Arians and bringing in Todd Haley. Obviously after the last few weeks I can't diss on Haley too much, but he still keeps trying to go to that dink and dunk offense.

Steelers aren't my first team to root for, but they're one of them since I like in PA, and I always liked Tomlin. Still do. I wouldn't want the Steelers to get rid of him unless they were replacing him with Cowher, or Jim Harbaugh assuming the rumors are correct that Jim is leaving San Fran.

My picks:

Texans @ Browns: Browns
Falcons @ Panthers: Panthers
Vikings @ Bears: Vikings
Bengals @ Saints: Saints
Broncos @ Rams: Broncos
Seahawks @ Chiefs: Chiefs
49ers @ Giants: 49ers
Buccaneers @ Redskins: Redskins
Raiders @ Chargers: Chargers
Lions @ Cardinals: Lions
Eagles @ Packers: Packers
Patriots @ Colts: Patriots
Steelers @ Titans: Steelers

Damn I wish the Bills would get a QB. Just one that is actually decent. We don't even need a Tom Brady. Even a Kapernick will do.

Woooooow

Rams beat Broncos 22-7????

Ladies and gentlemen, it is the apocalypse. Will you accept it or go out fighting?

Ryan Mallett looked good for Houston. If he finishes out the season with performances akin to today's, the Texans might have their next Matt Schaub. More than anything I'm just glad they brought the zombie Browns back to Earth.

-Every time I want to trust Cleveland, they stab me in the back. Mallett looked good.

-Got that KC pick right. KC looks much better then last year's team. Charles is a beast.

-Still not sure what makes Cam Newton so special.

-Peyton really hangs his receivers out to dry. What happened to Denver's run game?

-5 ints! 5! Eli had 5 ints today. How the fuck did the Patriots lose to him?

-The refs kind of fucked with the Lions, but the Lions looked woefully unprepared for this game. Arizona is legit.

Hoping for a big Patriots win tonight :)

I always know it's going to be a good day whenever the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning get blown out. It's disappointing though...just about every Bronco got hurt, except Manning, the only one I wanted to get hurt.

Sooo...I told my Dad that Jonas Gray is a bum, and that he's not going to do anything and that he made a mistake starting him. Not sure what I'm going to say when he calls me tomorrow.

:lmao::lol::lmao::lol::lmao:....................hold on need to catch my breath.............:lmao::lol::lmao:

Well jmt I can certainly say that it's not them sorry ass Aints

Lol, took you almost an entire month to respond to that post.

We deserve it though. The Saints fucking suck. Falcons still suck too though. You suck. Life sucks.

The whole damn NFC South sucks, the way I see it is that the Aints, Panthers, and Bucs have come together to tank and make sure that Mike Smith keeps his job which should not happen at all. While I do detest the fact that Captain Personality may indeed stick around, I will not stop enjoying the Aints losing.

Yes he's on my fantasy team. And yes I have waited 12 loooooong weeks to put him in my lineup.
