NFL 2014-2015 LD

Thank you Mike Smith, for calling that Time-Out on the last drive when there was no need too and then calling a pass play on that 3rd Down. No seriously, from the bottom of my heart thank you, b/c you have secured your spot on the unemployment line and I couldn't be happier.

Funny thing Holy is that the Falcons lost to those fuckers in pretty much the exact manner the Saints lost to them. Same score and everything, 26-23.

This game can be so fucking odd sometimes.

I'm not even a Falcons fan, but good lord that was a tough one. I for one am very happy that Matt Ryan will get a FAR better coach then Smith for the next few years. Tennessee and Philly is looking awful good too.

Did Sean Payton make a move that just screamed "I DON'T WANT MY JOB ANYMORE!!!"? There is only one reason why we aren't at LEAST 7-4 right now and that's Mr. Future Unemployed, Mike Smith. I was so damn angry after he called that TO that my rage broke and I saw the light in that he obviously doesn't want to keep his job so why should I care? I just laughed the entire last drive b/c I knew what was going to happen, it was inevitable.

Gotta love the NFC South. At no point during that goal line stand did I think New Orleans would get more than 3 points.

Well shit. Thought we got the ball. Nice false start, though.

lol... better field position than the fumble.

Steve Smith is a bad man. Even badder when he hates you.

These losses would sting so much less if the Saints season was simply over like it should be. Instead, we're still fucking tied for 1st in our division, giving me hope, only to inevitably let me down the next week.

The worst part: probably the Eagles or the Cowboys is going to have to go to either Atlanta or New Orleans for a playoff game.

The fact that we're through week 12 and the 2-8 Buccaneers are two games back tells you everything you need to know about that division.

You take the division, no sir YOU take the division, no insist you should have the division, no no my good man with all due respect I feel you need the division

Hey I'll take the division for the Vikings if you feel up to letting us be an honorary NFC South member. We're right on schedule record wise and everything.

Haven't they already beat the Falcons and Bucs? You win against the Panthers this Sunday and it's yours, b/c nobody else obviously wants it. Now I understand the Falcons clearly have a Mike Smith problem, but what the hell is going on with your Saints jmt?

And I shall be there live, with my brother who's a Panthers fan. One of us is going to be extremely quiet on the 8 hour drive home.

As for the Saints, they just lost talent this offseason. Brees is doing what he can, but Graham's getting doubled a lot and the WR's just aren't up to the level they used to be. Cooks is a nice pick up and when he gets back next year could take a big leap. Colston's old, lost several steps. I also think Brees lost a tiny step. Not significant, but enough that it's noticeable.

Their defense lost it's heart and soul as well with all the players they lost. Last year they played great, but before hand their defense could play enough to get the ball back to Brees and the offense more. Their run defense is horrible, as Forsett going off for 180 tonight as clear proof, and their secondary is a hot mess as well. Brees has to play from behind a lot due to that, and the effectiveness of Ingram in the running game is lost.

Just looking from the outside in of course.

Edit: To make it even worse for New Orleans, after letting that heart and soul go, they blew all their salary cap space on Jarius Byrd, but along with Brees' contract as well as Graham's, they're in salary cap hell for the next 3 years at least. Unless Brees restructures and frees up space, I don't think they can go get the free agents that could make a significant impact. It's gotta be through the draft and building up younger players.

Ty pretty much nailed it.

Although Brees needs to be held accountable for the boneheaded INTs and fumbles he has made this season. It seems like he has a huge one every single game and it's killing us.

The secondary in our defense has been shredded with injuries and our front four just isn't getting the pressure it was getting last year.

We miss Sproles.

And our offensive line is officially old. They've been incredible since the Brees era begin but most of them are in their thirties now and they're just not what they once were.

My suggestion is for the Saints to Chip Kelly it up and move to a hurry up offense 24/7. You have nothing to lose at this point, so why not? The offense plays their best in the two minute drill, so let's play it all the fucking time.

The last thing I would have predicted from today's games was Dallas getting obliterated by Philly.

Their rematch in a couple of weeks will be really interesting.

It baffles me that Drew Brees doesn't simply throw to Jimmy Graham 10+ a a game and let him do work on defenses. Graham has shown he's pretty much unstoppable unless double-teamed, then you bust through with Ingram and the running game.

It's as if the Saints are over-thinking on offense and it's costing them games.

Glad to see the Packers get that win over the Pats. That last five minutes had me nervous as hell. I can't wait to hear whet Skip Bayless has to say on First Take.

The Saints better fucking win today. I'm in no mood to spend three hours of my life watching them shit the bed against a horrible team that I fucking hate.

Fantasty Football playoffs today in 2 leagues, a chance to win my division in the Dynasty League.

And the Vikings play the Jets. Let's hope for a good day today.
