I used to, not really now though. Why?
I'm so gutted. I came up with a good response to a student protester, but formulated the words slightly too slow to say them:
(I should point out at this stage, that I'm not fundamentally against the protest or their motives, just the behaviour and holier-than-thou attitude of public school students who seem think they speak for poor people, yet believe that you aren't educated if you leave school at 16 and use words like "chav" to describe anyone on a council estate.)
Police are boxing in students, allowing them into train station in small groups. This is causing a massive crowd to gather as non-protesters struggle to get in to the train station.
Man: Why don't you get out of the way so the police can let us in
Protestor #1: Because it's our right to protest
Man: And that means making difficult for hard working people on their way home?
Protestor #1: I can protest, I pay my taxis! It's the police's fault!
Policeman unmoved, rolls eyes
Man: The police are actually doing a really good job
Protestor #2: Errrmmm hahaha (forced, nasal laugh)
Protestor #1: (as man walks away) Well, you've probably got a mansion in the Cayman Islands.
Protestor #2: Nice to see the police using SS tactics
Protestor #3: I think that's harsh.
Protestor #2: No! This is actually a well used Nazi tactic.
And it is at this point that I wish I'd said "if they were like the SS, you'd be getting on the train a lot quicker, and it wouldn't be going to King's Cross", but alas, I was in the station by the time it came to me.
