Yeah red sox certainly not those awful white soxs. Pinch runner for jeter? Wow really a fucking bandage.
No runner for Jeter...

And yeah, remove the eyesore of a Bandage. it's a distraction. Plus the Tigers had a Yankee remove a wristband earlier in the series. Gamesmanship at its finest.

Oh yeah, and ummm, looks like your team is having a good ALDS.....

Base Hit Granderson. Cano with 2 on.

Rather not make the post season than lose in the first round. Come on should of left max in their. Double play please double play. Oh and Ells is gonna win mvp.

You'd rather have the worst Regular Season Collapse of all time over a playoff berth?

Only Sox player that deserves any consideration, but his teams play should cost him. That, and Verlander was ten thousand times more valuable.

Yes probably would of got swept by Texas. Verlanders gonna win the cy no reason to also give him the mvp.

Yes, because the Sox were the biggest embarassment in the history off "good" Major League Baseball teams...

How about because (get this) he was the MOST....VALUABLE...PLAYER Give him both, because he deserves both. No one offensive player had a year good enough to win the award easily.

BAD, BAD, BAD move by Leyland. He just pulled his best pitcher he had left for a suspect bullpen. Scherzer should have closed this game out for him.

It was the right move. Scherzer just pitched three days ago and he was already over 30 pitches in 1.1 innings. The bullpen was suspect last night but you can't just go away from those guys because of a bad outing. Benoit pitched fine in that last inning and he wouldn't have given up anything if he could field.

Yeah I'm pretty much almost over the collapse with Tampa losing and I'm thinking watching the Yankees lose will certainly cure everything. I know how dominant verlander was but I still believe the mvp should go to position players and besides ellsbury was at or near the top of wins above replacement.

The pen has been bad all series, not just last inning. And Scherzer is still the best option.

Benoit wasn't good at all, he allowed 3 baserunners and an inherited runner to score. Scherzer. Now he needs to go another inning, Valverde (who has not been good at all either) has to go 2, or they have to go to some other guy for one, since Benoit probably can't go a second inning now.

Scherzer could have very easily gone 50-60 innings and then pitch games 3-7 if they go to the ALCS. Now his season could very well be over thanks to a shaky Pen.

Dont buy that tightness bullshit Giradi panicked.
He PANICKED? Are you even watching the game? Nova settled down and had a scoreless 2nd (1-2-3 after a leadoff double), then didn't even start the third. The move made absolutely no sense from a pitcher not having it anymore standpoint, because even if you didn't think he'd be able to go long, he could have easily started the next inning then be pulled if he allowed a runner. It wasn't at all a panic move, and to think he's lying about an injury is pretty stupid.

Yeah because managers never lie about injuries genius. Yeah 123 inning against the bottom of the order. I'm saying I don't think giradi had faith in Nova. But hey obviously it's worked out so far.
