Yankees making a 9th inning comeback and guess who's coming up
WOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOORRRLLLD SEERRRIIIIEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I wonder where Alex Rodriguez is playing next season?
As I discussed in the non spam MLB thread, anyone who acquires him has to platoon him at 3rd/DH, reasonably, if they want to get maximum production at third. He's only a liability against lefties. I can't see why any team in the world would take that kind of salary just for a platoon player. The Yankees should adapt to the unfortunate reality they're in and platoon him (ideally with Chavez if they re-sign him) - if they can manage to get anyone to take A-Rod and his enormous contract, it will be simultaneously the masterful (for the Yankees) and most idiotic (for whoever gets him) transaction in the history of baseball.
My guess is if they are able to trade A-Rod, the Yankees will continue to pay a significant percentage of his salary.

I was hearing that the most anyone would offer A-Rod would be a 1 year 5 mil deal. Meaning the Yankees would still be paying like, 75% of his contract next year.
