Personally i think it should be the NEW GM of Raw which they desperately need to get!!! And i think that person should be.....drum roll

SHANE MCMAHON

He is seriously the best person for a GM job. He has been gone long enough and REALLY needs to come back

I think its not of a matter who does it, because for me stone cold should've been the final guest host for raw, but why they're ending it. What are the creative team going to come up with? with vince's character probably finished after his awful match with bret hart (i dont think vince even hurt bret once in that match) i dont see how they're going to end it.

For me i'd like to see a one off return of shane mcmahon, or even one of the final appearances of shawn michaels, because i think he will be back in wwe but like stone cold occasional appearances

I think HBK will come back and be GM of Raw. He was only planning on taking some time off after 'Mania, not retiring (even though he lost to The Undertaker).

Trump is a decent idea since it would have come full circle since it's conception. Honestly speaking though, I don't think they'll announce the end of the celebrity guest host idea. They'll just stop one week and that will be it. How they would do it I'm not sure, but more than likely it would be the result of an incredible large storyline and would over shadow the whole general manager idea. Whether they choose to appoint a permanent general manager or not is yet to be seen, but it would be for the best if they're really doing away with the Mr.McMahon character for good. The authority figure aspect of the shows is usually beneficial and could be used to benefit both faces or heels. Personally, I would want to Macho Man guest host. Then again, he's also the most unlikely candidate. One can wish.

There's only one man that could end the Raw guest host concept. That man is The Rock. That's a non-arguement. There's one reason and one reason why the Rock should end it and it's ridiculously obvious. Because after The Rock hosts, there is nobody... AND I MEAN NOBODY... that could top the Rock. You know this. I know this. We all know this. Regardless of your personal opinion of the man and how he walked out on the WWE in a sense... and I'm one of those that believes he does owe us an explanation or even one more match... he is arguably the most entertaining superstar of all time. Yes, Austin was more important in the attitude era than the Rock was because Austin defined that period and more or less started it. Austin has been back quite a few times since he retired. The Rock hasn't. The Rock hasn't shown his face in front of a crowd in a WWE ring in about... 5-6 years. I'm sorry, but he owes the fans. But again... everybody else hosting would just pale in comparison.

Ted Turner, the guy that Mcmahon put out of the wrasslin business.... If they let it run towards the end of the year then Sting which would set up a Sting HOF and possible WM match vs goldberg..

the only person that can end is mcmahon !! obviously a storyline invovling mchmahon that ted turner idea sounds good but most likely wont happen , u know ted turner taking over raw going into the wrestlemania in atlanta next year

I think and pray that the rock will end it in june if that is when he is hosting which is what alot of pple think me included. I think it has gone on long enough and really some of the guest host make no since at all flavor flav???? If they were doing the guest host it should have been wrestling ppl and not random ppl.

I think Trump is the perfect way to end it. Simply because he started it he should finish it. an angle I would really like to see run is, in weeks prior to Trumps scheduled appearance as guest host he should run some vignettes telling Vince that he wants to get rid of the the idea Etc. Then when he does host it Have a Wrestler Vs Wrestler match. Trump wins Guest host concept goes and vise versa.

First of all who the hell is Flava Flav. And secondly this celebrity guest host thing is getting out of hand. 2 weeks ago they had those hot time machine freaks that didnt even know where the hell they were. He said he was very excited for RAW and he looked like a stoner, but anyway the Donald Trump idea is good but I agree with the other person saying that the last host should be revealed as the GM. But it wont be Shane O Mac. Maybe Stephanie or Vince or maybe one of the superstars. Maybe Vickie will get promoted!!!

The trump idea is definaltly good, but i think it should be someone who'll surprise everyone. And they have to be an authority figure already. I like the Steph idea. Shane's left WWE so it won't be him. Just throwing this out there, but how about Tiffiany, for a little while. I mean she was a good GM on ECW I thought. And shes not doing anything on smackdown at the moment. She could have like a posse or something. could be good.

Rumors awhile back claimed that the guest host storyline would be nearing its conclusion following WrestleMania and that a new high profile name would be assuming GM duties. The first name that came to me was Bret Hart granted he made his come back for closure in a storyline leading into WrestleMania. Next to Hart was Stone Cold who could bring order and much needed heat to Monday Nights. When Shawn put his career on the line against The Undertaker, I thought he maybe would leave and return as the new GM, but now I really can't think about anyone better than Bret Hart for the job other than maybe Stephanie. With Shane transitioning into the world of MMA, I doubt he will come back anytime soon if at all. I believe he wasn't even present during the Hall of Fame ceremony and WrestleMania as it was apparently reported. This seems to me like a clear sign of his departure. Stephanie is a likely candidate simply because of her being a past GM and being closely tied to the Triple H and Vince. But maybe she, too, is done with wrestling. She may not have always been a fan in the first place and want to finally break free and do her own thing. Bret Hart on the other hand... well, he has everything going for him to become the new and permanent GM for the time being. Now that Stone Cold's acting career has finally began picking up pace and momentum, I don't think he'd be available for such a permanent job. Maybe a year or two before his next big gigs in Hollywood, but nothing more. Personally, either of the aforementioned personnel would do wonders for the show as permanent GM, but my number one choice would be The Rock who is much more marketable to a PG audience than Stone Cold could ever be, and is much more familiar to the current average audiences than Bret Hart could ever be. Worthy of the GM position, too, are the likes of The Million Dollar Man, Jim Ross, Teddy Long (leaving SmackDown in the hands of Vickie Guerrero or even Tiffany), Roddy Piper, and for kicks, Hornswoggle or Santino. In my opinion, a GM has to be someone around whom the WWE can construct legitimate storylines akin to what was done with Mick Foley and other GM from the past.

This Celebrity Guest Host theme need to end ASAP. I like it at the beginning, but now its just getting old an worn out. We need to have a real someone to come in and take the GM spot. Someone who knows what there doing.

Time for my weekly rant on the guest hosts of Raw.

The guest this week was David Hasselhoff. I think that for the most part he did a good job and the show was good even during the parts he was in. I think he tried a little too hard in that promo where he said "Finally, THE HOFF has come back!", that's only cool when the Rock does it. Gotta give the guy credit for trying to be entertaining. The lifeguard segment was inevitable and it wasn't too bad.... until the end of it. Why make Santino pretend to choke on a whistle so Hornswoggle could come out? Santino could just as easily have spit out the whistle. I thought that part was really stupid and could have been done better. I'll give Hasselhoff a good review because he exceeded my expectations (which weren't that high) and provided some interesting moments on Raw this week with only one bad part.

The guys next week probably won't be that great, but I'll wait until after Raw before I form any true opinions on that.

I liked David last night, he did a good job at trying to be entertaining, and surprisingly enough succeeding (given the fact that I've never found Hoff entertaining, but I will give it to him last night, it was.. hoffsome so to say)
Last night's episode was actually fairly decent, Hoff did some fine stuff on the microphone, and a little mockery here and there, some okay involvement in everything, except that I must admit I was a little disappointed it wasn't him going in as the lifeguard rather than Hornswoggle, which I found the most boring part of the show, especially the fact that Santino proved the fluke that is the tad-pole splash (sitting up, as opposed to others simply staying down)

David Hasselhoff was a very cool guest host. The crowd was into him, and almost every segment he was involved with was pretty entertaining last night. That's been kind of rare these past couple of weeks because a lot of segments with the other guest hosts have sucked. It was also cool to take a couple of trips down memory lane with the Knight Rider and Baywatch segments.

So i red it on wrestlezone and decided to make a thread out of it.So the news is that lesnar might host raw in the future.I cant say if vince will allow or not.But think about ratings. If he comes back he can possibly feud with cena.Cena can take the revenge for what lesnar did to him in 2003.So i think its quite good if lesnar comes back because despite his size,he was a very exciting wrestler. So what r ur thoughts?

Lesnar was freakin amazin when he was with the WWE. I think he shud b a Guest Host and get back into the WWE through that like Hart did but hav a longer stay of course.I think a Lesnar vs Cena fued would be amazin aswell with Lesnar winning and gaining a permanant position back in the WWE.

Brock Lesnar was a guy who the company put a ton of faith in and he rewarded them by putting on two years of excellent work and then leaving to pursue a dream in football. The way he left was completely disgraceful but it doesn't change the fact that he was THE biggest star the company had in 2003. He's since gone on to become the biggest draw in UFC and become undisputed UFC Champion. An appearance by Lesnar would bring in good ratings for WWE and maybe do Lesnar a world of good if he could mend some broken fences. Jim Ross brought up the idea of a match for Lesnar at WrestleMania and while it's unlikely it would be intertesting to see. This guy fights so I would assume he's in good condition but the only problem is who would his opponent be? Triple H perhaps? Well whatever happens, it should interesting.

I am a huge fan of Brock Lesnar. I have great respect for what he has been able to accomplish in UFC. I especially loved his rant after destroying Frank Muir.

I remember when Brock was set to face The Rock for the WWE title. I didn't want him to be champ because I felt he hadn't been around long enough and didn't deserve it. Boy was I wrong. Lesnar did good work while in the WWE and was a deserving champion and competitor. He was a force to be reckoned with seemed indestructable!

I would like to see Lesnar as guest host on Raw and can see it being huge in the ratings. But is this going to happen? I have to think that it is improbable. Brock is a member of the UFC. The UFC is on Spike TV. Spike TV competes head to head with Raw on USA. I can't see Dana White and the UFC being cool with brock hosting Raw because it will hurt their cause.

As far as a return to a WWE ring, I can't see this ever happening. I want to see Brock vs Cena. The only way this will ever happen is if Brock's MMA career takes a total shit and he has no other option.

I'm not all that keen on Brock Lesnar hosting Raw because it's all but guaranteed that Lesnar will have an on screen confrontation with at least one member of the Raw roster. That in and of itself isn't bad, but you know that whomever that wrestler is will be punked out so Lesnar can look like a million bucks.

The instances of having celebrities go over the wrestlers is something I've never been all that fond of. Why should a WWE wrestler be made to look bad just so a celebrity can have an ego boost? That hasn't happened everytime with Raw guest hosts, thankfully, but it's been one of those "Uuuuugggggghhhhh" moments when it happens. To me, a celebrity that gets involved in a wrestling angle and is willing to be the one coming out on the short end of the stick shows me that he or she is someone that's a good sport and is willing to push their ego aside for the sake of putting on a good show.

Brock Lesnar is now an MMA superstar and probably the single most talked about man in MMA for close to 2 years. I sincerely doubt that Lesnar would be willing to put over a WWE wrestler as he'd probably take some shit over that from the MMA community. If Lesnar were to host Raw without some sort of confrontation, it would kill 90% of the expectations that the audience would have and it would just be extremely lame. If Lesnar isn't willing to put over the WWE with his presence on hosting a WWE show, then I personally don't want him to host.

An appearance as guest host might give a slight spike in the ratings, and it would be prety good to see him back in the ring, but I dont think he would wrestle - he wouldnt want to risk injury and ruining his UFC career. It would be entertaining for the night and he would be better then 95% of guest hosts, but it would be nothing special all in all.

Going by what I read in the Observer he was keen just that he didnt completely rule it out like he has in the past which is why it is news. Dont think it would happen. I doubt Dana would let or Vince would have the UFC champ on Raw.

It would obviously be interesting if he were to guest host Raw, but I keep wondering what he would do. There isn't anyone currently there that he could confront from the past, although thats what I think. If he does, im guessing it would just be a standard guest host that doesn't do much or just bigs up his next fight!

See, this is what I always expected from the guest host concept, the appearance of former stars, legends and other wrestling-based personalities, not just whomever they can get their hands on that week that's promoting a book / movie / CD / TV show etc.

I think Lesnar might be a bit of a let-down though, he was never golden on the mic and as someone else mentioned, he'll just be shown as a monster UFC guy now, punking out the "fake" athletes...

Still, would beat someone with no real relevance or connection to wrestling, like say they gave the guest host spot to David Hasselhoff... Oh... Wait... Nevermind, that wasn't a horrendous dream...
