RAW Roulette to return?

Sources say that Wayne Brady is going to be the guest host of RAW on May 3rd. So since he is the big time game show host kinda guy will they bring back the RAW Roulette?

In my opinion i think that RAW Roulette is one of the greatest things on the show in the past 8 or so years. This would also be a shot at TNA's Golden boy Eric Bischoff, and we know that the E loves to do that. So this Thread is to discuss if RAW Roulette should be brought back and used NOT a discussion about Wayne Brady as RAW guest host.

My main problem is that everything seems mostly predictable, and with the PG rating the matches would probably have some comedic tone to them. I'd be quite surprised if Midget Mash Mania wasn't one of the matches. And you know if a cage is present then a cage match will be selected, purely by chance of course.

And I doubt WWE would use it to make fun of Bischoff as they haven't taken any shots at them that I've seen. Remember, Bischoff "invented" the Elimination Chamber but they didn't and haven't made fun of that match, although it was a joke. Just kidding there. I couldn't help it.

I hope not as in this PG era WWE cant really do a good one. Out are matches like First Blood, Inferno and Bra and Panty matches. So what options do we have street fights, handicap matches No DQ. I mean those are all considered normal matches. I suppose we could get a Ladder Match but is it far enough removed from MITB to not be overshadowed. Just dont think they can come up with enough decent match types to justify it

I could honestly care less. Raw Roulette was interesting every now and then. Sometimes it was fun, others it wasn't.

So, I say let it die out for about 4 years, and then bring it back. Didn't they just have one last year? Yeah I think so. Either way. They should just let the gimmick rest for about 4-5 years. Then bring it back.

The longer you let something rest, the more entertaining it will be when you bring it back. Just like with the whole Bret vs Vince feud 13 years later, is much better than if they did it, say, 2 years later. We've had time to let the bitter taste leave out mouths, and now, they've just brought it back like the anniversary of your mothers death 13 years later. So just let Raw Roulette die for a few years, maybe even a decade or so.

I highly doubt it, why? because whats the point?
It's so darn predictable these days.
Theres not going to be a random match, its gonna be so PREDICTABLE.
And its not even going to be any suprising matchup.
No more Last man standing, Barbed Wire Steel Cage, First Blood, Inferno, and etc.
pgWWE's Raw Roullete would be nothing special anyways, whats the point?
I mean if they do it..cool. but it wont be anything special.

now as good as the RAW Roulette is and having eric with it was great there would be a match in the ring then all of a sudden on the big screen there he was and he would be all now lets spin the RAW Roulette and see what match we have and there was first blood and ladder matches and everything but i cant see it working with the pg thing going on so it would be good but i just dont see it happening

There is no reason to bring it back. Raw Roulette has runs it's course just like everything does. Besides the matches would have to be toned down a bit and it's not like we know what they will be anyways. It was never shocking or surprising when they spun the wheel, they made it pretty obvious what match it would likely be. So I hope they don't bring it back.

I agree, what's the point of the RAW roulette? You can't have blood, bra and panties, the cage matches are heavily edited. We'd see more gore and undies on Disney channel. :banghead: I mean, if you even look closer, you know the roulette wheel doesn't fall on a match by chance, the last time they had the wheel, you could see that the wheel seemed to almost fall on the matches that the stars seemed to want. There's no such thing as coincidence anymore.:banghead: What's the point of having the video games let diva's do hardcore, cage matches, extreme rules, etc if they won't do them on the show?
