CM Punk's character is really believable. He's done nothing different to last year, but everyone else is making him the bad guy. IT's the perfect way to turn someone heel, because they are still in the right, even though you hate them, making them legitimate. Orton cannot legitimize kicking a pensioner in the head.

Which is why Jericho became such a good heel.
