I do find it amusing that it started simply by someone replying "Cena not over?" :lmao:

You're a big baseball fan. What's your opinion on the Yankees spending countless millions and the returns they get from it? Sure they're usually challengers, but is it justifiable? I guess nowadays more teams are starting to spend a lot as well.

When you have that many fans buying merchandise and tickets, you can afford to spend that kind of money. It drives me crazy as an Indians fan who can't afford that kind of talent, but the Yankees get results from it. They won the World Series what, two years ago? It's working.

Favorite Billy Joel song?

Do you think Pete Rose will one day get the rightful admission into Cooperstown like he deserves?

Do you agree that Ted Williams is the greatest hitter of all-time?

We Didn't Start the Fire. I'm a history geek.

Yeah, but not while Selig is in charge.

Either him or Babe Ruth. Little known fact: Ruth's career average is two points lower than Williams'.

Why don't you smoke pot?

Why would I want to do that?

That only furthers my reasoning for Williams being the best ever. Plus there's this little thing...

That's pretty damn impressive he could figure that out.

Not exactly. Ruth hit way more home runs and had a nearly comparable average. He's a better power hitter and nearly as good at hitting for average.

What the hell is that?

It's his average at every point the ball could cross the plate.

Ruth is very good yes, In fact he's the only other answer in my mind to who the best hitter of all-time could be. But Williams had it down to a science and like you said his average was a bit better. Also Williams missed time due to the war.

Gotta figure he would had a lot more homeruns if he didn't miss that time and he would have maybe had an even better average.

Ruth spent five years as a pitcher. Give him those full seasons in his prime and he would have beaten Williams.

What about DiMaggio? Or reggie jackson?

I'm not a yankees fan but weren't they good?

Noerles Noel will be better than Anthony davis

Admit it KB
