Did you pay attention to any of the Cubs vs. Wrigleyville thing? Was it news to anyone not in Chicago?
 
See my opinion on it is that the franchise is more important than Wrigleyville. Fuck the rooftop owners and bar owners. They put nothing into the franchise themselves. They reap the benefits of people that stop at a bar or go to a rooftop to get shitfaced across the street from the game. In my opinion it was all a "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" situation. The Cubs made Wrigleyville an experience, not the other way around.
 
Lol, not what I'm trying to say. They just shouldn't piss and moan about something that is necessary for the franchise and the stadium. More for the rooftop owners than anything. The bars can stay open late if more night games were played. They also can charge more for alcohol. Beers are expensive anyway so fuck it.
