Pretty simple logic actually KB, the PPV is going to have a focus on the X-Division and if they put the title on the line in the Ultimate X match then that makes any other X-Division match on the card virtually pointless. Makes perfect sense to have a Number 1 Contender Ultimate X and then an actual X-Division title match.

Yeah that makes sense, but I'd still go with the ultimate X, the signature match of the division, as the title match and main event rather than a regular one on one match for the title.

I get the idea of the two matches at DX, but still I don't get why they shouldn't have Ultimate X, the signature match of the division, be for the title and close the show rather than having the title match be just one on one.
