How did he not deserve to be a main eventer? He was getting the most heat of anyone in WCW when he arrived and he had been promised a main event spot for years from McMahon who never delivered on that promise after burying him in shitty tag teams and hair vs. hair angles.
Never gotten over with a mainstream audience? Bull-fucking-shit, he was over as a heel in his early WWF run, he was over as a heel in WCW, and he was over as a heel in TNA. He's a veteran who's busted his ass for over 20 years all over the globe in almost every major promotion, and still people shit on him. Pisses me off.
How do you figure? If Jarrett is a midcarder masquerading as a main eventer than so is Edge and every other wrestler to rise from the midcard to the main event.
