IMPACT Wrestling LD for 10.20.11 (everyone read first post)

At the same time...Ehhh, if the guy is hurt, he is hurt ya know? What can ya do?

You could have the guy that was pushed for months beat him at the show he was hurt going into, give the fans a nice moment to close out a show that conceivably many people paid for, and go from there?

Change the title at the PPV when they had built up a big match and then have Roode vs. Storm build up to a huge match?

Which should seemingly take a little while to get to. Storm was a guy with no match on the biggest show of the year. If Angle lost at BFG and took time off (at least a little for injury), go to someone else that is built up to be a main eventer. Then again, the closest to that is Mr. Anderson I guess and a face/face feud would suck. Maybe if Bully Ray won that match, you could have gone with him or something. Oh hell, I have no idea where TNA can go from here and honestly, I don't think they do either.

If they don't do Roode vs. Storm at the first PPV they can, I'll be stunned.

I wouldve had BFGS come down to a final match between Roode and Storm, then have Storm win at BFG....OR have Immortal jump Roode during BFG to try and spar Angle from having to defend, with Storm as a last minute sub-in.

Makes sense. the problem I saw with having Roode in there was he didn't really have a resume as a singles guy. He won a marathon competition (can you really call it a tournament?) where he had more matches and got points where others could lose points. It ended with a win over Gunner of all people and then they tried to build his resume afterwards. Not a fan of it at all and then the ending didn't help it either.

do you have aby idea how long I'm gonna be confusing you and S.D. ?

No confusion. Joe's cool and enthusiastic about wrestling and his posts show that. If you see a post as such, it's Joe. Now, if you see the Storm sig with a convoluted answer that no one understands and a defense of something TNA that makes no sense to anyone but the poster, then you're talking to SD. Simple enough I think :p

Ok, so take all of that, subtract that one accolade and you have Storm's resume as a singles guy. How is he ANY more ready in that sense than Roode?

Likely would have gone with my second scenario, with an injured Roode giving storm the pep talk on a gurney or some shit. You still get your stunner moment from tonight and such

I don't think the show was as bad as it's made out to be. I can understand a lot of wrapping things up after BFG although this was overboard with it. I can understand it here though. Not good, but not the worst show ever as it's being made out to be.

well yeah that's after I stop and read it. I'm talking about a quick glance.

I usually ignore most things SD says and now I'm gonna have to read everything in case it's actually Joe

Sometimes the narrow mindedness of kb and jj is astounding.

This past week has been the most fun I have had watching wrestling in a while.

1)Easy for you considering your sig.

2) You are a sad little man

I'll explain #2 in a way even you can understand. There's explaining your PPV and there's what we got. WAY too much talking about very little. The opener could have been WAYYY shorter. It would have been nice to see a little something from ALL the matches at BFG but we got like two. It's still a lot of Hogan and Bischoff so if you aren't a fan of them (like me), those are segments you aren't going to enjoy. And then the main event.......

There's a lot wrong with the main event and even if I liked Storm I think I'd be ashamed of it. Terrible way to change the title and a giant FU to the people who bought BFG. Why pay to see a big moment where a guy working for years without winning the big one gets to finally do it when you can see another guy that didn't get build win it on free tv solely for shock value? And the "best wrestler in the world" who can take finishers galore from Roode goes down to ONE move from Storm? Also ironic, considering he fought Storm like 2 weeks ago and didn't have these issues.

There's a lot of wrong with what's going on and the only narrow minded person is you, SD. You are narrow minded to think that TNA can never do any wrong. I've been here for years with you watching shows and you know damn well that I'm a fan, but the way this went down is mighty poor.

He isn't, but I'd rather watch Storm than Roode.

Honest question and no one has ever given me good reason, but why?

I know you are from Kentucky which is near Tennessee but I have never seen the appeal of Storm. No one has ever been able to explain to me why Storm deserves a shot. To me, he comes off like Bradshaw's (before he became JBL) ******ed brother. That's not a World Champion to me. Tell me why I should invest in him as champion and why he will make TNA money as champion.

I'm not saying this to be an asshole, I really want to know what anyone sees in this guy.
