IMPACT Wrestling LD for 07.07.11

JJ, So you say the quality and flow improved for reasons beyond just the current shows they were building to yet it will be "as bad as ever" once those shows are over? How isn't that a contradiction?

There is a difference between seeing it to believe it and condemning it before it even has a chance to happen.

I never said bad, you did. I'm saying that the two shows being built up help the quality. You have new guys or returning guys to sample each week, feuds being furthered for both shows, etc. There's a lot going on and not a lot of down time. It's great at the moment. What I'm saying is that without two shows to prepare for, there might be more filler time, or more time given to things that aren't as cool to see. Thus, by virtue, the quality won't be as high. That said, it can still be a quality show. I never said it would be a bad show. In fact, never once in all the time that I've known you have I used the term "bad show" ever.

Please, take your convoluted, ridiculous twisting of words and save it for someone who doesn't converse with you on a weekly basis. I never said the show would be bad nor did I condemn anything before it happens. I'm just having realistic expectations for what the show will bring come next week and beyond. It could still be a good show, but it won't be as action packed due to not building towards two shows anymore. That's all.

It appears that we do not disagree that much JJ, however, I think if you read what me and KB were discussing before you interjected yourself on his behalf that you would understand where some of my comments on things you did not say are coming from.

I'm excited for tonight's show. I've really started enjoying a lot over the past few weeks and tonight's show looks good on paper. It seems to me like they've been simplifying the storylines over the past few weeks and it's working for them. Sure, not everything is perfect, but it's loads better than it was a few months ago.

Oh, and congratulations to 300 episodes of Impact. That's a pretty big deal.

I'm confident they can keep the pace they have this month after Des-X. Just replace the 3-Way X Division matches with guys like Matt Morgan, Eric Young or RVD .

Looking forward to seeing the 3 guys in the X-Division match and the announcement of who is going to be in the Ultimate X match for Destination X

According to this interview with Low Ki the Ultimate X match is the Low KI vs Austin Aries vs Shimma Xion vs ?? (Winner of tonights 3 Way)

His mindset leading into his Ultimate X Contract Match at TNA/Impact Wrestling’s Destination X Pay-Per-View: “My mindset is go hard or go home…that simple. Same mindset I had going into NXT. I don’t see myself as a trial guy, although that’s where I’m at currently with Impact Wrestling. I’m accomplished, I’m credible. I probably shouldn’t be in this, but this is what I’m involved in at this moment, so make an example of these guys and show them that I sacrificed a lot of my life to be at a level in this profession.”

What are the odds Daniels is still a face after next Thursday?

How cool would this be. Daniels turns heel at the PPV. However instead of joining Immortal like some think around the internet he creates an ROH type stable to go against Fortune.

AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels.

Kazarian vs. ????? ( Wrestler who fights tonight in 3 way )

Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries

James Storm vs. Low Ki

You can also have some tag matches as well. It would be a really cool way to get the non contracted wrestlers into the fold.

Have the participants in the Ultimate X match been announced? I don't remember hearing anything about it.

For all my complaining I do, Impact Wrestling has been very good the past few weeks, count me in.
