I'll never understand why the moderators do stuff like this. Especially since they always end up luring regular posters without access to the Board Room into saying things that they'll wish they could take back once they find out that these threads are nothing but jokes.

And yet again, Tdigle can't lighten up for 5 minutes.
Honestly, when I first started it, it was never intended to be like this.
I was just going to make a quick joke about it, and then move on. Then Polley signed off, someone else said something, and we just went with it.
We didn't dream this up, didn't plan it out or anything. We just rolled with it.
Nice try. We caught several with it initially. And everyone who was saying "it's a work" would never EVER commit to that position. They were just saying that to cover their own ass, not because they really believed it.

I could care less what you do or what kind of sense of humor you have (obviously, ours are not the same). As I said before, I am just concerned about the people you entrap, for lack of better words. This whole thread didn't include just you and your friends playing a joke. It included other people that said some things that they probably now wish that they could take back.

Yeah, just like Monkey and Shango's fake hate thread for HBK-aholic got people talking again in The Bar Room. If anything, as Becker already hinted at, this is going to scare people away.
And, all those hits, those are mainly from Bar Flies like myself checking up on the thread every 20 minutes or so.

hahah In my defence I even told hammy on MSN I thought this was fake! She believed it though...haha...I didn't find it funny though, because it did seem fake. You guys fight all the time in the boardroom and never make it public, so why would you do it now.

That's very true. We do go at it like this, just over much more pointless stuff.
While I'm not particularly outraged by it, you did catch me out, although I wasn't here during the main event of the argument. I appreciate that riling people up is funny, but I don't think the humour is as good online, where people can say "I was being sarcastic".
That being said, my point still sticks. People thought this was real. They would have thought Sly's insults to KB were real, and they could have been offended by them. If I made racist comments to someone black, but had cleared it up with them first, I'd still be making racist comments that people could find offensive.

At times was thinking to myself 'Surely they didnt just say that'.
Didnt chime in earlier as real or fake wasnt my place to.
