Hornswoggle Has To Go!

Honestly just seeing Chavo job to him for the fourth time is painful to watch. This time it made me painfully angry. How does this "leprechaun" even get to win matches anyway?

When he first became Finlay's aid and was known as "The Little Bastard" he was somewhat entertaining but when he won the damn Cruiserweight Championship (yes he has had an actual title reign in WWE) and actually kept defeating Noble I had enough of him.

Now he is racking up victory after victory over Chavo Guerrero, he is in fact 4-0 against Chavo. Like come on that "Tadpole Splash" isn't believable and it seems as though an old granny could kick out of it.

So IMO I would love to see this little "leprechaun" released, and he has been another thorn in my side when I watch RAW or whatever program he is on.

Anyone else agree with me?

Yeah it's a joke, I just played GTA4 when I saw that bullshit on tonight. WWE loves the cheesy comedy so unfortunately I dont see him leaving soon. Poor Chavo...

I like Horny. He is one funny bugger when he gets in those gimmick matches. However I do agree that the tadpole splash sucks. It was cool at first because it was a leprechaun jumping off the top rope. But it staled quickly. Also why use Chavo to do this skit with? First Vickie now Chavo? Is Vince upset with the family for Hector doing Spanish Commentary in TNA or something? Chavo is way to good to be jobbing out to Horny. I think the question should be "Why Chavo?" He is becoming the Eric Young of the WWE and that is not good.

To an extent I agree with you. Horny can be a douche at times, and takes out precious lengthy t.v time, and isn't really that over with the fans to my knowledge I guess. But thats where the agreements stop, I like the little guy. He's some what entertaining. And I like his theme, it's catchy lol. But yes I hate what there doing with Chavo. CHAVO IS A TALENTED GUERRERO OF GODS SAKE!

Dude i couldnt agree with you more! thats little waste of wrestling is on RAW! the MAIN fucking show! Even tho we all now smackdown is better now anyway. but how is he even allowed to compete?! let alone beat a former ECW champ 4 times in a row, now lets look back again, who did Chavo beat for that ECW title? Cm punk! and who has he beat many times for the cruserweight title? Rey Myterio! so if anybody has a brain watching this stuff we r seeing a "little person" beat someone whose cleanly beaten 2 world champions for titles in his career. wow!

I don't mind little Horny but the constant jobbing by Chavo to him is getting over the top. He doesn't need to be wrestling to be entertaining. Just have him do his backstage skits etc, don't put him in match after match every week and winning against someone like Chavo. I mean honestly, couldn't chavo just lay accross Horny from the start and he would win, I can't see Hornswoggle kicking out with a grown man laying on top of him.

Anyways, I don't mind Horny, he can be funny but the constant wins week after week is getting to be too much.

Hornswoggle is employed by WWE mainly because of the kids. He gets one of the best reactions on RAW anyway so why change that? It's not like he's hurting anybody. Chavo hasn't done anything memorable in a long time besides winning the ECW Title and I forgot about that. If Chavo isn't complaining about this, why should we?

Well, I don't wish for anyone to be fired, but damn... why the fuck does this guy actually have to win matches? What is the fucking point? There is no point. It wouldn't make sense for him to go over a diva, let alone a male wrestler. This is pathetic.

For all we know, Hornswaggle could be the coolest, most respectful person on this Earth and has unlimited passion for the business, but it benefits absolutely NO ONE for this guy to defeat ANYBODY on national television, not even himself, as no matter who he defeats, he will still be a joke in everyone's eyes.

Hornswaggle might make a 6-year-old chuckle for 2 seconds, but that's it. He has absolutely nothing else to offer as a wrestler. As a manager, maybe there's something there, but as an actual competitor? There's nothing he could ever do in that sense to benefit the company or himself. Nothing.

I just fail to see why Hornswoggle continues to get air time, when as a comedic jobber, Santino Marella is 100x more entertaining than a little green pimple who doesn't speak.

I do have more of a problem with the Kendrick/Lawler feud. I don't see why it's still a feud when Lawler beat Kendrick the week before. It makes Kofi look bad even moreso than Kendrick because I was expecting a good match. We'll probably see another Kendrick/Lawler squashfest before Brian is subsequently released or stuck with a tag team. Santino gets his share of air-time as well albeit being backstage segments. He is just as funny as Hornswoggle but the kids like Horny more and Vince is just going to keep feeding him to them.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you all. I actually find the Hornswaggle segments to be pretty funny. Some of you need to quit taking this stuff so seriously. There's always going to be comedy. Also, Chavo has proven before he's good at the comedy bit. It's not like he was doing anything meaningful before this. I think being a foil to a midget sure beats pushing Vickie Guerrero's wheelchair. You guys really need to lighten up.

Here's my 2 cents on the issue.

When I saw Hornswoggle being Finlay's sidekick, I thought that was cool and I dug that.

I dont see whats the point with a 27 year old 2 footer acting like a 6 year old (because of course thats what his face looks like) defeating such a good wrestler like Chavo. I simply see this as Vince getting back at Chavo or the Guerrero family for something that we may not know about. Vince has done this before, to have a good quality wrestler be defeated and humiliated on live tv. Its as if Vince likes to see what kind of threshold of pain the guy may have. Its very typical of Vince to do this. Sure, at the end of the day Chavo is getting paid for this, but fans dont forget these things so easily.

HW is just an annoying product of this PG era. And hopefully he'll be thrown in the discard pile once all this is over.

I like Hornswaggle as much as the next guy but I see why Vince keeps him around. I disagree with having him defeat other wrestlers who are bigger than him. I almost feel sorry for Chavo but I guess it is what it is. Anyways, other than that Vince probably keeps him around because of the merchandise sales. I don’t know the exact statistics of how much units of Hornswaggle merchandise is sold, but I’m certain that Horny’s merchandise sells pretty well or else Vince wouldn’t keep him around since he would literally be doing nothing for the company other than being a wrestler on the roster. Like I said, I disagree with having him defeat wrestlers that are bigger than him but ultimately he’s going to have a job as long as he continues making money for the WWE. I would much rather have him somewhere else doing his comedy skits like on ECW but it is what it is.

I don't see why they can't do Hornswoggle matches before the show airs like a dark match or something. I don't honestly think that ratings pop when Hornswoggle is on TV. It was reported that Chavo was hit with garbage from the fans at ringside so you know its humiliating for him to lose every week. But that's what they get paid for. I just think that the blindfold match took WWE back 30 years. Next week on Raw it will be a Coal Miner's glove match for sure, just end it now WWE.

The Swoggle is there because he regularly gets reactions. Hell, he gets bigger reactions than fucking Bourne does. Though that's probably because Bourne isn't going around calling himself a leprechaun and biting people....hmmmmm....

At any rate, it's not like Swoggle is beating someone that actually matters. If The Swoggle were beating someone like Bourne or Swagger or Kofi, then I would see the problem. But he's beating someone who can't get a reaction from the crowd for the life of him. I wouldn't be surprised if Swoggle were drafted to ECW to give Benjamin his going away feud.

To close, it's one thing for Swoggle to win against people who matter. But Chavo? Really? I would have loved to have more time for Kofi's match on Raw...but it's not like they're really hurting someone who matters any.

I've already gona over this in another thread, but what the hell...

I am amused by Hornswoogle, I find him entertaining and humorous and a fun little break from matches that lately seem to just end in a cluster and are confusing. Should he have as much exposure as he has recently... eh perhaps they could cut back on it a bit. I don't know really what else to say as to why I like him, I just do.

As far as Chavo... it is not and I repeat not a slap in the face for him. He is not being punished and embarrassed, he is doing his job, and doing it well. He has done this odd kind of programs before, that's probably why he is doing it now, it's nothing new for him and if he wasn't enjoying it or having fun with it, I'm sure we would have gotten some wiff of his displeasure by now.

The sooner the Swoggle is out of the WWE the better. For everyone.

I know that he currently pulls at the heartstrings of the younger folks. It's like the story of the little leprechaun that couldn't... and then did. Personally, I think that he is completely unbelievable and I would like to see the back of him. Incredibly, the WWE must see something in him otherwise he would have been out the door quicker than Ken Kennedy. The Swoggle is one of those people that the WWE know they can market right and get some entertainment out of . It was the same with the guy with one leg. The difference being that the guy could actually hold his own in the ring and was a fantastic athlete. Two things that The Swoggle doesn't have to his credit.

What really makes me angry though is the fact that Chavo Guerrero has to go out every week and job to the little guy. I mean, does it get any more degrading for a member of one of the proudest wrestling families in the world? I don't think so. Try putting the late Eddie Guerrero in a ring with Swoggle and have him job. No, I didn't think so. Poor Chavo. You don't know how much I am rooting for Chavo to go out one week and just fuck him up. Smoosh his head with his foot and then take a piss over the dead remains of the little guy.

i totally agree with the op. if i c another match wher thers a midget playing around wit a grown man like the ones we have been seeing for the past month, im gonna lose it. apparently theres no time on the show for a decent match to build up a superstar like tbk ( we all saw wut happened... )
But theres enuff time to have a cheesy segment tht isnt even close to funny. cmon replace it with a divas match or sumthin, hell id rather watch micheal cole say control frenzy a hundred times then c hornswoggle again. its important to have comedy segment i get it, but atleast try to make them funny.

Personally, I do agree asI don't enjoy him. But, he does entertain fans, particularly of the little variety. As long as Swoggle keeps getting pops, keeps saleing merch, and keeps entertaining people, he will saty on TV. That's right though, no one can argue with that. They want to entertain, and Swoggle does so, so it's justifiable. But, I don't get entertained by him, but that's just me, and a collective amount of others do. One versus one huindred (kids, probably).
