CM Punk walks out

There is no way Punk is going to ever appear in TNA. He latest goal was to main event WrestleMania... What would his goal be? Main event Bound for Glory? C'mon...

He might do Japan or an indy appearance here and there for fun. But I don't see him making another major commitment to a wrestling organization.

If you've been paying attention to his media appearances, you can tell the guy is just checked out Heck, I'd say he's been like that since Mania last year. If not before.

Apparently WWE has unfollowed CM Punk on Twitter. This is obviously some serious shit now. Just waiting for Vince to put out a Tout to clarify the situation.

If by any chance this is all a work, which doesn't seem to be, but if this turns out to be resolved and CM Punk actually returns a little bit after Elimination Chamber - how of a blessing would it be? I mean, he is yet another victim of the "system". If this is part of a work, I don't care what you all say but fuck it, WWE is doing some of their best work ever.

But lets say it's legit - CM Punk leaves in the hottest season as far as money goes for the company and, he could be very well faced with charges for breach of contract can't he? Legit question here. How wise is this move on CM Punk's part?

- PWInsider reports that WWE sources indicate CM Punk quitting WWE had nothing to do with Batista personally and it wasn't Batista that caused the decision. It was more a collection of issues including being burnt out, injuries, a difference in what WWE saw as a big push for Punk and what he felt was one, specifically facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXX.
"Awww, did someone not get what they wanted? Awww, that's too bad."

Better chance of me seeing him downtown now that he's gone, plus he'll be probably be more interesting if does take a leave of absence for a while. This is good for both sides really.

There is nothing about this that is good.

Either Punk left because he's a whiny bitch and if its a storyline fans why would I care if he pulls this all the time. Maybe some people like Punk is in this constant "I'm leaving cuz I don't get my way" crap but frankly it does nothing for me. By my account this is the 3rd time hes done this (2 of those times were supposedly legit the other was after WM29) how will this help him in any way? I don't get the upside to this whether its work or shoot.

If its shoot then Punk really needs to get over himself because he's not just fucking the WWE, he's fucking his fans in the process.

Not necessarily in disagreement, but he does have to look out for himself and his interests- namely his mental and physical health. He seems to be a high strung dude and is an admitted insomniac, so those factors in concert with what he feels is unfair treatment could understandably cause him to reach a breaking point.

Plus, like Jake said, he'd be an idiot to just continually be unhappy at his job and stay there, especially considering that he's got to be sitting on a nice nest egg.

So yeah, his actions have far reaching consequences, but he's not beholden to WWE or to us. I don't like it anymore than anyone else, but I understand.

If he's unhappy I get it, no one wants to be at a job they don't like and in Punks case I'm sure he will be just fine without WWE.

As of now I can only go off what I've read and it sounds he's unhappy for 1 of 3 reasons:

1) Management was worried about a concussion so they kept him off RAW to be safe although Punk apparently passed concussion tests.

2) Batista won the Rumbe

3) He didn't like his Mania program

Those are 3 pretty shitty reasons to be so unhappy you quit before your contract ends. Why not wait until July and not burn bridges? Why not be professional?

I don't wanna shit on Punk just yet as it could all be a work but if it isn't a work he sounds like he would be miserable in WWE regardless. Over the last 12 months he's worked with Rock, Cena,Taker,Jericho,Heyman and Lesnar, most wrestlers would kill for that. Outside of Cena he seems to be the best treated full time talent in WWE, if he ain't happy now he never will be. It sounds like unless Vince bows to Punks feet he's gonna be butthurt, Punk ain't worth that much.

I hear you. Like I said, I wasn't disagreeing. I'm totally with you about professionalism and about all of the opportunities Punk's been afforded. Again, I don't like it, but I understand.

I got plenty of dough but I still act like a pro and not throw a fit when I don't get my way, I give my opinion but sometimes it doesn't go your way in business.

I've hated jobs, I've been unhappy at jobs so I quit, but I give notice and still help them out all I can on my way out and that's why I still get calls from these places to come back under better cirumstances. Its mutual respect, something Punk apparently doesnt have

I think you're missing the point. His anger isn't all about himself. It's pretty clear what upset him was the Daniel Bryan fiasco. When he says part-timers are holding the full time talent down, he's not referring to himself. Last year he made a comment at a Wrestlemania conference about Antonio Cesaro being the best performer in WWE. Look where he's at. Dolph Ziggler made a passing comment about Orton being a crybaby and went from the upper-midcard right back to the undercard. It's clear what's bothering Punk. And it's clear that he wants WWE to realize how dumb they're acting the same way Stone Cold did when he walked out in 2002.

Punk's not throwing some hissy fit because "he's" not getting what he want's. He's got a top spot, money and a circulating cavalcade of beautiful women. He's trying to stick up for his peers. One of which has been shunted to the point that fans revolt in the middle of WWE broadcasts.

Talk to me again when you know something that's not wrestling, Hentai porn or what type of lube is the best to buy.
I don't know which type of lube is best. I'm too poor to experiment. I've only ever used this because it was in the garage when I moved in:

So hes sticking up for his peers by walking out? That sounds like the opposite of what he's accomplishing.

And maybe Bryan didn't go in the Rumble so he can wrestle Triple H at Mania. You know that guy his character needs to beat more than he does winning the title right now?
