The anime caught up to the current arc so Viz is letting it rest for a bit. They're still churning out dubbed episodes though.
Looking forward to Path To Ninja. It's kinda like DB's Path To Power.

I've read reviews from Japanese fans that speak English. It's a very pro Naruto and Sakura movie if you like that stuff. I'll probably go and see it just to see Naruto and his parents.

That show was awesome, only anime based off wrestling I can remember. Didn't the main voice also play Goku?
Not sure, certainly didn't notice at the time I watched it. Wasn't there an nWo reference?

There was tons of references to actual wrestling at the time.
Though I do believe there might have been some reference to the NWO being a rip off of from some japan organization.
I don't remember any, all I remember (and I don't even know if this is true or just a figment of my imagination) was that Kevin Mask and others were part of a stable/team/whatever that had a logo EXACTLY like nWo's. Might give Ultimate Muscle another watch after my Dragonball/DBZ/DBGT run.
Hmmm. Don't remember that, fuck it. Going to watch Ultimate Muscle again, my brother showed me a drawing of Aquaman and Dick Dick Van Dyke (or was it Dick Dick Van Dick?) earlier, so much nostalgia & memories came flooding back.

Mantaro's my favorite, I remember watching a ton of episodes in a short period of time but never finished the series and just stopped after that.

As anyone seen the new Rock Lee anime? It's hilarious; it's pretty much nothing but satire from the Naruto series.
I saw the pilot episode. Hilarious stuff.

I tried watching the first couple of episodes in season 1 but fell out of it. Do I need to re-watch the whole first season or can I just start wherever Kermit?

To be honest, almost every episode has some connection to the overall plot and key character development. The show gets better as it goes along. Don't let the early drag discourage you.

He's building up to a big finish. Mashima as a habit of going all out with the conclusions of his arcs. I mean just look at ending to the previous arc as an example.
Here's hoping that's the case and not because he's running out of ideas. Mashima has also shown a habit of building up something and then ignoring it hoping nobody remember it after a long time. In this current arc, he built up many things but left them unresolved or underwhelming. i.e the new dragonslayers and mermaid heel and Jellal. Instead the arc degenerated into a typical fighting manga style.
Lol the ending of the previous arc is the biggest troll move I've ever seen. Here's hoping there is more of that.
