I'm just as lost as you are; I really wasn't expecting Tobi to be Obito. I was expecting him to be a chimera of sorts. And maybe he still is.

It's better than Bleach; Kenpachi has his ass thoroughly handed to him and we don't even see the fight.

I honestly had to stop reading/watching Bleach after the whole save Rukia from execution arc, I think a lot of people will agree that's the best part of the series it really goes downhill from there.

That's a shame considering that the Arrancar Downfall arc is awesome; although the series does lose luster after that.

Eh, I'm up to the war in Fake Karakura Town at the moment and it's fairly solid. Not a lot going on there really as the volumes are basically 70% fighting and sound effects with the other 30% being fairly meh character development.

I think the subbed series is somewhere in the middle between pain arc and wherever they are in the manga.

They're at the start of the war arc in the sub series; however, if the world ends in December I bet that'll be right when Madara makes his appearance. And that would be shit.

Yeah I feel sorry for the american kids who follow Naruto and have no idea about manga and subbed episodes. Who knows when they'll find out who Madara is.

I don't think so, I'd probably campaign with you as I'd like to see more Naruto characters in the fray.

He's pretty ridiculous, especially when he was still under the effects of the Impure World Resurrection. How Kishimoto chose to stop the IWR was a bit shit though. It's like the Uchiha have one haxed ability after the next.

Yeah I was never that much of an Uchiha fan, back before Shippuden started I was much more into the Byakugan, which reminds me there needs to be more Hinata/Neiji fights. I think the Byakugan has been seriously underdeveloped since Shippuden started.

Agreed. Out of the three eye jutsu's it's the weakest in terms of raw ability. Mangekyou Sharingan users do go blind if they overuse their abilities, so that is a nice handicap. It just... Izanagi and Izanami
Not even a Rinnegan user can defeat those.

Yeah it's sad that the Byakugan can really only see chakra pressure points (unless Neiji has done something I'm not up to date on). I also wonder if their is any sound ninja who have any cool justu's like cracking people ears drums and trapping them in a genjustu with sound. So many things Kishimoto never dived into.

The most recent issue left us with a bit of a cliff hanger. It appears that when Obito was crushed, he entered a mid-world where an elder-looking Madara is at.

I finished the Soul Eater series today and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It wasn't the greatest anime ever but it was very well done and felt really different from other animes. The pace was fast and I was never bored watching it, the art style was different. The story wasn't anything overcomplicated and it never got too stretched out. Just a really fun anime, for me at least.

There's a Sage Toad jutsu that Jiraiya used that attacks with sound. It's one of the stronger genjutsu's in the series; more so than Tsukuyomi.

To anybody who's up to date on the Manga, do they bring Kisame back as one of the reanimated zombies like they do for the rest of the Akastuki? Or am I just getting my hopes up. He's my favorite member and I still feel he deserved more of a character ending fight then he got.
