29 differences in my list to the final list. Some I definitely should have included, notably Dick The Bruiser, Christian, Bully Ray and Carpentier. The rest I'd be happy to omit.
Not on my list;
Not enough success in the main event; Ahmed Johnson, Earthquake, Brian Pillman, Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson, William Regal, Paul Orndorff, Magnum TA, Hawk, Animal, Tully Blanchard, Ultimo Dragon, Essa Rios, Dean Malenko, Steven Richards, Goldust
Brief championship reigns but poor records vs top class opposition; Jack Swagger, Iron Sheik, The Miz, James Storm
Karl Gotch and Ed Lewis I omitted while including Frank Gotch. I didn't wanna overload with pre-worked style wrestlers as I feel they don't suit the tournament. I assumed Frank was the premier of the generation and picked him over Ed Lewis and Hackenschmidt. Possibly Ed Lewis would be a more fitting choice, as he transcended eras more than Frank.
Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks I omitted due to the lack of credibility the British wrestling federation has on a world wide scale. Few have ever progressed to main event success elsewhere. Maybe again that's a mistake as I included Carlos Colon for solely his work in Puerto Rico and a couple of indy kids right down the bottom of my list in Low Ki and Davey Richards. The success of other indy graduates in major federations convinced me to give more credibility to those minor feds. perhaps hypocritical.
Finally Gory Guerrero I left out - afaik he was most famous for his tag work, albeit at a very premier level in Mexico. El Santo and Blue Demon are pretty unique commodities due to their overwhelming drawing power and I ranked them highly accordingly. I didn't stretch that as far for Gory as he never had the same dominance in the federation.

Missing from my list are a BUNCH of Puroresu guys. I really think Japan has been hard done by, it's a major power in the world of wrestling and the guy i consider the #2 lifetime is missing. In total, my missing Japanese wrestlers are;
#32 Genichiro Tenryu, #46 Jumbo Tsurata, #57 Masahiro Chono, #73 Tatsumi Fujinami, #74 Riki Choshu, #76 Jun Akiyama, #90 Hiroshi Tanahashi, #97 Takeshi Morishima, #118 Akebono, #119 Tiger Mask
I feel each would have graced this tournament - the higher ranked on the list have done well vs very highly seeded north american wrestlers too. Oh well.
#52 Mad Dog Vachon, #62 Pat O'Connor and #104 Original Sheik I feel are huge omissions this year.
The rest I'm ok with not featuring, but they were;
#77 Nikita Koloff, #80 Bobby Lashley, #89 Great Khali, #93 Roman Reigns, #94 Larry Zbysko, #96 Shane Douglas, #100 Samoa Joe, #111 Fred Blassie, #113 Ken Shamrock, #114 Don Muraco, #116 Austin Aries, #117 Bray Wyatt, #123 Rhyno, #125 Seth Rollins, #127 Davey Richards, #128 Low Ki
