I have no problem with people making money.
What I have a problem with is people trying to lie and distort the situation to others to make money.
What went on during those segments was complete shit. And for you to try and tell everyone that it's not shit, in the name of you attempting to profit off it, is absurd.
Now, Mr. Shareholder, how many fans do you want to predict that WWE gained tonight from those segments?
It's fine for Guy to want the company to be profitable if he's a shareholder. So long as he knows he's looking out for himself and Vince, which I'm sure he already knows. I doubt Guy thinks he needs to make wrestling fans love WWE for their own good or something.

I admit I was sort of playing Devil's Advocate tonight, but a lot of you guys overreacted to it... REALLY overreacted to it. You can't sit there and tell me what went on was more offensive or terrible than some of the stuff they've done in the past.

The last TNA show I watched was awful, much worse than RAW today or even last week. Hopefully TNA has improved somewhat since acquiring Hogan or else they won't be able to compete no matter how bad WWE programming becomes

TNA won't be able to compete at all.
Dude, it's been awful all year. Absolutely awful. Nothing comes close. People say the mid 90's were bad, but I dare you to watch some of that era and say it's worse than this. Not.Even.Close.
For Raw, I'm not sure I could argue. This year has been abysmal for Raw, possibly the worst it has ever been. I'd rather watch a thousand fucking Barry Horowitz matches on Raw then some of the shit I've seen this year.
The WWE all together though has actually vastly improved this year over last IMO. 2007-08 was terrible all around, I just couldn't get into anything and every PPV was just flat shit. 2009 has had some great, great wrestling matches showcased on the Smackdown brand though. The Jericho-Mysterio and Punk-Hardy feuds are the best feuds I've seen in the WWE in years and years.

No, it hasn't been awful at all. It has had bad shows, but overall it's been decent.

Mantaur and Max Moon were pretty bad in the 90's. Even though I was a Max Moon and Man Mountain Rock mark as a kid. Just imagine a show with Mantaur and Dennis Miller hosting.

There was still a bit of good wrestling then though. Now the storylines are shit and the wrestling is shit on Raw as well. Usually.

1995 had some good wrestling man. You had guys like HBK, Bret, Owen, Davey, Razor, the 1-2-3 Kid, Nash, and a bunch of other young guys in their prime. There was some solid wrestling that year despite the shitty angles.
