10/10/10! The TNA Bound For Glory LD
No offense, but I really like this. It definably caught the world by surprise. As intended.
9/11 caught the world off guard too. Didn't mean it was good.

Also, Abyss got hit in the gut with Janice right? So why didn't he show any signs of an injury?

I got worked. Didn't believe Hogan would show for a second. A lot of people did call it as a work, but a lot of people call everything as a work immaterial of what it turns out to be.

Well I guessed the Easy E Hogan and Jarrett part but the Hardy joining kinda threw me off. They better make something fucking good of this and Angle better not "retire" aka leave for 4 months again

Hardy can be a pretty likable guy amongst wrestling fans, so I wonder if this heel turn thing is going to work out.

So Hogan actually made it...was this really the game changing event it was made out to be? As someone already pointed out, the power of the swerve lies in the follow up promo. I don't really see Jeff as being able to sell it on his own. I expect instead more Hogan/Bischoff.

Someone explain to me at all? Hardy of all people?!?!?! Nice to see Hogan show up in the end though.
Think of it this way. Absolute nobody saw it coming. So much thought about Jeff never going anywhere because of legal issues and how out of sync he was with the feud, it really laid out the perfect way to surprise everyone. Marks love Hardy. It's no mystery. Smarks thought he was going nowhere because of his trial. Low and behold, he turns his back on everyone to finally win the TNA belt and prove he's not a low life.

My only complaint is involving Hulk Hogan. He's unnecessary.

I still don't understand where this leaves Sting and Nash. They were right all along, but at the same time they kicked the ever-loving shit out of face Samoa Joe for no reason.
They going heel as well so we can have the whole "Hogan was running both sides of this war" revelation?

So let's sum this up.

The surprise makes little sense as everyone that was involved was there when Abyss said they were COMING.

Hardy is a natural born face so now let's make him a heel.

How exactly is this a heel turn again?

Hogan was there, just as I called it.

Deception STILL makes no sense and we got nothing but Jarrett leaving Joe.

And once again, TNA takes a good match in the triple threat and messes up the ending with an angle instead of a clean pin.

Oh and Dreamer pinned Styles at the biggest show of the year to give EV the win in the feud.

Alright, everyone, I want you all to listen real carefully. In the distance lies the rage and future article coming from one Mark Madden and the thread that follows it.

Hear them keys type furiously.

On the negative side, something being surprising does not inherently make it good. Nobody called Dixie Carter interfering and winning the TNA heavyweight title herself... wouldn't have made it good.

A shock is good when it makes sense and drives a story forward. Jury is still out in this regard.

Naw, They didn't want to fight Joe, but he was coming at them hard, so they fought back.

Who didn't see a heel turn when Hogan came out at the end... I might have liked it if Hogan didn't turn, and Jeff Jarrett wasn't apart of it... I usually defend TNA but I didn't like this and I didn't even pay for Bound for Glory

I can honestly say I did see it coming. It's obvious creative were going with the exact same BATB swerve by turning the guy least likely to turn. The moment Jeff rolled out my assumptions were proved true.

I also have to question wherever or not Hogan's actual surgury was a work.

For not trusting them. Sting had the idea of what would happen and warned everyone. Only Nash and Pope believed him. Joe turned his back on them and sided with Hogan because Hogan cleared his backstage issue.

In other words TNA learned NOTHING from seeing WCW go out of business, and wants to replicate all the stupid shit that lead that company to doom
