Oh man...that was crazy. I think that was the most nervous I've ever been that a Champion was going to lose his belt. I thought I'd gotten bored of CM Punk, but it turns out, down deep, when the shit hits the fan I've still got love for my hometown Champion.

CM Punk vs. The Rock. WWE Championship. Royal Rumble.

And this night isn't over, ladies and gentlemen.

On one hand, that match should have ended the show. Wasn't all that great of a TLC match, but for the moment...fucking incredible. Had my heart pumping, and I physically stood up and fist pumped at the end. That's pretty much the best praise I can give a match these days. If you make me react emotionally to a wrestling match, you win.

On the other hand, it was the BCS halftime. I get it. It was probably a smart ratings move. The Rock will probably, even thought that was awesome, draw a bigger number than Punk when all is said and done. I get it.

Flipping between Raw and the National Championship Game (if I can call it a game) since it's the first time I've watched Raw for a while and the TLC match just made me feel...blah really. Some crazy bumps and stuff but the ending of it just kind of killed it for me.

Naw, predictable ending, decent match, whatever Punk/Rock interaction ends the show will be much better.

Ya'll can think whatever you want about the TLC match. I got really into it. I was having fun watching Ryback throw Punk through shit, but the lights going off really got me. Anytime the lights go out, I get excited. Obviously it was going to be The Shield, but for a split second - long enough for my brain to jump at the idea - thought maybe it was the Undertaker. It was foolish, but you don't really have time for logic in the moment.

I had fun. That's really all that matters to me. Sucks if you didn't. Looking forward to this Punk/Rock segment.

just curious for those who are complaining about the TLC match how would you have booked it
Keep in mind 1.Ryback couldn't lose cleanly
2.Lesnar wasn't going to return and fight Ryback.
