I had a feeling there would be a screwjob type ending in this PPV. It was too perfect, submission PPV in Montreal, but I did not see it coming in the Undertaker match.

I've always been a Punk fan, but only in the last few months has he truly convinced me that not only is he main event material, he's a god damned legend in the making.

I cannot wait for Smackdown. It shocks me right now how god damn good that brand is. It makes Raw look like such a joke.

Darn. I was hoping Taker would let everyone see his inner Bret and throw a shit fit in front of the audience instead of waiting to get to the back. That would have made my year.

Yeah the only thing I didn't like about it was that they could have made it look alot more like a "shoot" then they did. I mean, it was obvious as fuck from the moment Teddy came out that this was going to be a work, and the fans knew that, but they kind of dropped the ball with their reaction. JR and Todd just sat there, not saying anything. Taker stood around doing nothing. Taker should've flipped out, begun wrecking the tables and shit.

Still though, absolutely perfect booking decision by creative. Keep the belt on Punk and maintain his credibility & momentum, and also not make your returning star look bad at the same time. Win-win.

Was the actual match any good or just the ending? I just read the results and the ending sounds pretty damn good but the match sounded dull reading it. How did the match itself go? Punk/Taker I'm talking about

The match was good, but they were only given about 10 minutes to actually wrestle. They should have been given an extra 5-10 minutes at least. The ending saved it though.

the actual match was good enough to start out a long feud imo, didn't wanna give it all in their first go round, but the short taste of what they did was good it made Punk look like he could go toe to toe with taker.

No it didn't. This whole montreal screwjob stuff is getting old. I am ready as a lot are to let this stuff rest. This is what the second time this happened? Vince did it a few years ago to HBK.

It wasn't as bad to me this time because it didn't involve HBK or VInce. It was something technically new. That made it work for me.
