I Am The One Who Knocks
You quite suck actually.
Ooh, you got me. If I wanted a good comeback, I would ask your mom to throw up.

You see, the think about Brand New Is this. The people that usually dig the hell out of them are just trying to be cool, because they think it's indie, when it's really not anymore. They havent been indie for a good long while now. Same with Senses Fail, although I dig the hell out of senses fail. Shoot me...
Ain't nothin wrong with Senses Fail, I remember the time before they got popular, I believe when they had just released their first or second CD, I believe when they were on Vagrant records. Wow, I've been out of the hardcore/indie scene longer than I thought...
Really? I haven't heard that one since 6th grade. I guess you don't have the time to make up good comebacks while you spend your every waking second fisting yourself to pictures of Sting.
Haha man I was thinking the same thing. I remember when shit like Thursday used to be considered underground, now they're packing in fuckin' arenas. Makes me feel old.
I think I'm in love with you.
Don't even bring up Thursday, but since ya did already, I remember when their first CD came out and Understanding in a Car Crash got shown to me, I fell in love, but eventually my crew started to hate Thursday and ridiculed them a ton. Why? Because they got popular, we were young and stupid and were all about finding the most obscure good bands possible. Now I just want good music.
I hate it when people atart hating a band just because they get popular. I can understand if the style of music changes, but shouldn't you be happy that more people like your favorite band?
I couldn't care less if the band is obscure ir played on the radio every 2 seconds, if its good, its good.
I'm not a big Toby Keith fan Monker, haven't heard much to be honest. I'm not big on modern country though, I like to stick to the classic stuff; Cash, Nelson, Hank (the FIRST goddamnit), Merle, etc.
Oh don't get me wrong I'm not like that anymore, like I said we had to have been 15-16 at this point in time, and we were always arguing back and forth about bands and what not, one day person A would love a certain band, and a week later that person would be sick of them while Person b would start listening to the same band and start to like them.
Actually I"m glad I got out of the scene around here, it was always a competition who was the better punk, better hardcore kid, or biggest metal head, and really it was all about the music in my book, even if I did compete to have the biggest Vinyl record collection, holy fuck do I have records...
I wasn't trying to call you out on it. I'm sorry if it came across that way. The scene here used to be amazing. But then the venues stopped payinf their rent and closed down, and there is really nowhere for local bands to play. Thank God a new place is opening up pretty soon. One of the first shows at the venue is Thursday with The Fall of Troy. I'm excited about this place.
Tasty, I fucking love you. You have Gang of Four, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses, The Undertones, AND the La's on your iPod? Fuck you man, stop stealing my music!
As though I didn't already love you enough, you go and do this. Dude, you listen to fucking Orange Juice too?!
<3
After high school I went to college and one of my friends and personal weedman said he listened to Wu Tang Clan all the time, which helped me get back into hip hop and more specifically Bone Thugs n Harmony. Well I started to clean myself up, started dressing nice and all that since I wasn't getting women, and suddenly two of my closest friends wanted nothin to do with me and thought I was a poser, and others acted like that as well, but it wasn't nothing to me, I went found better friends anyways that were far more trustworthy anyways.
Yes, I listen to Orange Juice. Rip It Up is one of my favourite songs. I have the musical taste of a hero. And you. One and the same.
Sticking to the classics, and you have no Porter Wagner? Kenny Rogers? George Jones?
