Your forum annoyances

chester is you had a problem like this why did you ask the forum there is a much better tool that you could have used to get a better answer. You want to know what its called. I will give you a hint. Millions of people use it every day. It starts with a G and ends with oogle.
your just asking for a shit based answer on the forum.

1) Personal experience help.

2) Pretty instant responses.

3) In hindsight i was a stupid idea I admit.

-When a poster gets mad when you point out their bad grammar.

I don't like it when people make a huge deal over grammar on a wrestling forum. Seriously, if you're able to read it, then disregard how (s)he wrote it. You kind of look like a douche bag when you devote time to bashing how a post was written rather than arguing the substance of the post.

There are good times when it could be worth mentioning, like when the grammar is so bad, it's barely coherent.

Otherwise, you just come off as a know-it-all ****** whose only argument is grammar.

• Getting an angry response from a user with four posts who spammed the fuck out of a forum telling me his post that read "LOL, that's funny." in a non-spam section of the forum is not spam.

• Also, that same user demanding that I remove the "infraction" from his account when he was warned and not infracted.

• Anyone with a signature that's taller than it is wider.

• When Thread-Starters don't capitalize their titles.

• Users with incredibly generic handles like "WWE4LifeHBK", "TNARox129492", "AustinRKOEdge124", etc.

People who don't either:

- Read the first post/thread and answer the question with something off topic or incorrect to what was being asked.
- Don't read the thread title

or

- People who have to be told at least twice about something that is right under their nose ie forum rules, where to find certain things, etc.

One thing that bothers me is when a thread starter makes his opening post to open discussion and then never comes back to the thread. Too often do I see an OP open the floor to a debate, but they never show up for the rebuttal. If you're going to make a thread, you should be there to respond to anyone whom responds to you.

Presuming the thread is debatable in that fashion, sure, but not all of them are.

For example: Miz is new WWE Champion, what are your thoughts on this?

Do I really need to have a rebuttal to every reply that someone posts that I don't agree with just because I was the OP for the thread?

No, but I'm not talking about those types of threads. I'm talking about threads like: Miz is the best heel WWE Champion Ever. If you're going to make a big statement like that, you better be prepared to come back and defend it.

Now Mods if this is in the wrong section then move it

Or how about: "Now I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed before, but... If it has been, please feel free to move or delete it."

You just know when you read this, this topic has been beaten to death and the poster just never bothered to look for it. Should Chris Benoit be in the WWE Hall of Fame, for example. If you are not sure if this has been discussed before and decide to start a thread about it, you mustn't have looked very hard, because this thread must have been started over a dozen times previously.

Like the mods need the poster's permission to move or delete it anyway.

HateHabs reminded me, it annoys the fuck out of me when people drag Benoit's murder into debates about his wrestling ability. No doubt, what Benoit did was nothing short of monstrous, but that doesn't change the fact he was an amazing wrestler.

Lazy fuckers who can't be ass to make at least one paragraph post in the non spam section.

Names that could be an insult to wrestling like 'Wrestling is Mediocare' and yet he/she is on a wrestling site.

War Games
Cruiser Belt
X wrestler going face/heel
These guys should be a stable
x wrestler should return

Ok. This in many cases is bullshit. When grammar is adequate and that certain error won't impede your reading of the post then your being a dick by pointing it out.

I'd rather be a dick than an idiot.

I like it that you do not find names like TNAfan101 or something as generic.

Go pee on shattered dreams or something.

You got to understand that not everyone comes on here to look cool on the internet. They just name their usernames after their favorite wrestler.

You certainly had a stretch where you tried to look cool. Any of those mentor programs you applied for pick you up yet?

I was telling the truth. It was their problem, not mine.

Seems like it's yours now.

Thank god WZCW counts as non-spam then.

When people join in on LDs, specifically WWE LDs every single week and shit it up with *YAAAWN* THIS IS SO BORING, TIME TO TURN OFF THE CHANNEL, etc.

Looking at you, Shittered.

Oh, this one is huge for me:

When anyone comes into a thread, admits they don't watch the god damn programming, and have the nerve to actually think their opinion on something they don't even have a working knowledge of matters, or that anyone should read it.

Generic names: "wwe4life238956489"! No one tries to look cool on internet but man why the fuck are you so lazy? Why can't you just put your name if you don't have anything creative?

When those same guys keep spaming on the wrong section!

When you read at every single thread things like "Cena is going heel definitely this time" or "HHH' come back is sooo obvious" or that kind of things.
