Stock, but you are allowed to draft, trade, sign free agents etc. just like a normal franchise.

Right now, its just WZ. Mainy for the simple fact that its easiest to attempt staying in contact with everyone, if not on xbox live - then through the WZ Forums.
I'm okay with bringing others in, as long as they're willing to be online and commit to trying to make this work.

Real life Rosters. Injuries ARE ON, trading is open (including w/ cpu). Everything was set-up to try and match everything the way it would be in real life.
Including beginning IN the Pre-Season.
I'd love to see at least 1 person in each division, which will make at least our Playoff's entertaining to say the least. As it stands, we have a nice beginning.
The NFC South has every team now taken, except for the Bucs. That, for me as a Panther, is a bitch.
But its going to be great at the same time.Our season will begin NEXT WEEKEND! Or at least attempt to.
Again, if you know someone who can be online and play regularly, then by all means give them the password and let them join. I'd still like it to be WZ elite if we can.. but I doubt we find 32 people off here, to join. So friends can be acceptable -- IF they can be trusted to find ways to regularly get on and play games.

I'm still living off XBox and PSOne, so I know the feeling.

So, I'm online right now on live and looking over a couple things.
1. Turns out, we skip Pre-Season. Ty will be happy, I'm kinda disappointed. lol I was looking for Pre-Season to be a type of "test-run" that won't count, and it'd give everyone a chance to gauge talent.
2. 5 people have officially signed up, online/xbox live. Yet I have 10, on the front page/post of this thread. So, if you want in (and have the game/ability to) please make sure you sign up, ASAP, so you're definitely locked in.
Also, I'm not really sure how the whole signing of FA's will work - but I think it may be "first come, first serve". If this is the case, can we try to have some type of "real life mutual respect" in which one person isn't trying to sign literally EVERY top player available.. but instead, only sign the players/positions you need.
For example, I'm thinking of picking up a WR - but it won't be a top talented one, more so, a 3rd-4th string one.. to add some more depth to my WR pool.
Is this okay with everyone? To have a type of mutual respect, instead of signing every top available player instantly?

In the first year of any franchise, they skip pre-season. Chances are you'll be doing it for the other seasons. Unless, something has changed since the last Madden I own...'04...
So in this case, I'd be justified going for Marvin Harrison? I wish I had a 360...Just to see him in red and blue...

No, in offline Franchise mode, Pre-Season is there.
But, my guess is because Pre-Season doesn't "count" toward anything, but unofficially getting teams set-up and ready for the Reg. Season.. they just discounted it from online Franchise mode, since a lot of players likely didn't want to play 4 games that won't "count".
If its in, for the following year's season, that'd be cool though. I just wanna "train" dammit. LOL If everyone that's said will sign up, does, I have 8 actual "human vs. human" games on my schedule. That is damn fine by me. I'd love more though.

Yes, since NY doesn't actually have a true #1 anymore. You could attempt going for Harrison, or Plax for that matter.
Basically, I was referring to NOT wanting to see someone who could control.. say, the Pats, try and pick up Harrison/Burress.. to go with Welker, Moss & the rest of that core. Its just not realistic.
Fuck, I'd be okay with whoever gets Dallas to go for one of them though, because "I" personally do NOT see Roy Williams as a true #1, either.
Buy me a 360, pay for me to get my own internet connection, buy me the game, and ship it to me...And, I'm in...

LAWLZ, Marquis is the Saints.. and has me on Week 17.
I'd love for you to find a way to play though, you'd be a top guy I'd love to have in this thing. NorCal would be another, and I KNOW he has a 360 and likely will have Madden.. but he doesn't like doing the whole "online live" thing.
Ahhh...It must be Week 16 they play again. Week 17 would be the Vikings then, right? I know the last three are always Philly, Carolina, and Minnesota, but the order changes up.

Yeah but we're discussing if you actually played Madden against us, so by that logic, Washington you could defeat, Will would crush you with Carolina, and All Day would be romping all over your "vaunted" defense. Besides, I'll have the NFC North wrapped up by then so I'll just rest starters so I'm prepped for the march to becoming the first WZ Super Bowl Champion.
