X-Pac Back?

With the injury to HHH now, does this open the door for X-Pac to come back to the WWE and to DX. I imagine HHH will still be there but not wrestling. I would see this as a great opportunity for a shake-up for the WWE and I hope that the IWC doesn't ruin any rumour about it and ruin the surprise. Do you think he is a possibility to come back and do you think he's worth it?

Vince will probably pay top dollar to get X-Pac back if he's looking to keep DX around because with Triple H being a by-stander for a lengthy period of time, they can't just keep DX going with HBK wrestling single matches and Triple H just cutting promo's, the fans just won't keep with it. Personally, i'd love to see X-Pac come back, and so would a huge other percent of D-Generation X fans. So to answer your question, yes, I do think it is a huge opportunity for X-Pac to come back and I hope Vince, and X-Pac, follow through with it.

but what about HBKs surgery? If anything is good about this injury, its the fact that HBK can get surgery sooner than he would have done if HHH wasnt injured. And quite frankly, its visible that he needs it, hes looking...creaky.

X-Pac could've come back ages ago, but his substance problems kept it from happening. Last time we saw him in TNA, he had let his body go a bit and wasn't as athletic as he once was. He's another one of the Kliq members with Scott Hall syndrome (loads of talent, but problems with too much extracurricular fun). I definitely wouldn't mind seeing X-Pac at 100% back in the WWE. At least we'd get a credible worker that could take some shots and move with a purpose for once.

I dont mind him coming back so long as he does'nt phone it in like he did during his last WWE run. I think he's completley wasted his potential. I seriously think WWE would have made him a world champ if he had made more of an effort. He used to get great heat as a heel despite his size. Remember he was the only WWE superstar who was booed during the Invasion P.P.V.

Well I wouldn't go as far as to say WWE would have made him world champ but he was definitely a big star, and could have extended his WWE run if it weren't for his personal problems.

I know he was involved with that MTV wrestling thing, and I'm not sure if he's under any type of contract with them that would prevent him coming to WWE. Is he still a part of that?

i wouldnt mind seeing X-pac right now to hel[p out in the wake of hhh's injury. but i see it as a way for shawn to get hes surgery and possible come back for wrestlemania to get revenge on Rated RKO. but the whole x-pac thing would be great for the fans as it would be another person cracking jokes as to just hhh doing all the talking.

I wouldn't put it past Vince to bring X-pac back to keep Dx going in the ring.
If there is anybody who could buy him out of his contract at MTV its Vince.
Plus back in September when he was here in Vegas with the NWA/Mexican
wrestling show he looked to be back down close to his original weight.

Well theyve proven that they will hire former drug addicts with the redebut of Jeff Hardy so i wouldnt put it past them to rehire xpac

Yeah, Hardy not only got rehired by also was given a lengthy IC title run. Being a drug addict has little influence on the decision to hire him, his contract with MTV is really the only obstacle. But I still doubt Vince would buy out his contract, with Shawn wanting to take time off and with HHH's injury, DX may end sooner than later, and honestly I doubt Vince sees much usefulness with Xpac without DX.

I am not sure how they are going to keep this DX angle around if they dont add another person like X-Pac. I mean he would make a great addition to DX with HHH being out and all that. He could easily jump in there and pick back up the momentum of DX. He was fairly entertaining during his old DX days. I think that if we dont see him by Royal Rumble or anyone else for that matter that DX may be done and over with.

As much as I like Ric Flair, I don't see him being a good DX member. At least, those are the rumors going around. X-Pac would definetly be the best choice. I think he is under contract but I don't like getting into legal terms. I think X-Pac would be the perfect guy to fill the void. If that does happen, then the fans would respond with a loud cheer. Triple H cutting promos with them from time to time would also be great. Personally, I think that if WWE can make this happen, it would be the perfect way to continue DX. I heard Shawn has been even crying in the locker room because he refuses to take painkillers. That's sad news but if X-Pac comes back, it would continue DX.

They can in theory keep the angle going with HBK on his own. He doesn&#8217;t necessarily need to say &#8220;he is DX&#8221; he just needs to keep the Gimmick going until Triple H is ready to come back. They don&#8217;t need to hire another Late 90&#8217;s guy to give everyone a healthy dose of nostalgia again. The guy got booed to a ridiculous extent when he was in the WWE the last time, what makes anything think people will have forgotten how much the guy sucks? (according to the fans).
