I do not like the idea that I might be even remotely popular. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

But I do like the idea of a NorCal-shaped bodyguard to rid me of nuisances.

Sooooooooooo a well rounded discussion of history over a bottle of scotch would not be in the cards?

In my experience, there is rarely such a thing as a well-rounded dicussion of history. It usually gets tainted with the same kind of biases that appearance in political and religious discussions.

And I hate whisky.

Perhaps, but I enjoy discussing history and learning about it, and your knowledge of said subject is exponentially more then mine, I'd be like a sponge soaking up what you know. I'd be clay in your hands Barbosa to mold me in anyway you'd like.

I may be big, but I have a lot of feelings. and you hurt damn near every one of them.

I would take a couple of drinks to begin with. Calm the nerves and all that. Then I'd actively seek out Naitch, LSN, Sally, Diet Soda, Rojan and then move on to try and find Coco, Sam, GD, Lee, and... maybe Theo merely to compare beards.

The rest of the time would be spent having this mutual guessing game with people whereupon divulging who I am, there follows a short awkward ground-staring contest before I move into somebody else. God help anybody who has genuine animosity for someone else. I have a strange scenario playing out where Coco and ST get together and really get on until they reveal who they are. Then the first fight of the night starts.

Either way, eventually everyone would end up crowded around the Bar Room table centred by SNS anyway. Inevitable. I kind of feel that some people like Sly or ST would be recognizable because of their distinct personalities. It would be intriguing to see what some of the guys here look like.
