He hasn't been on the microphone for a long time and his matches have been anything but bland. Who knows what he has been working on. Jericho is one of the best in the business on the mic and maybe he has been giving some tips to Bourne.

umm, those clauses are in the contracts with the TV shows, not WWE. Major networks are likely more picky then those VH1 stuff

I'm not saying your definitely wrong, but I think the shows only do that if the filming is going to be a hectic schedule. Games shows are not difficult to schedule as you don't need to rely on a large group of talent, just the producers, the host, and the bikini clad women holding things. Guests have to work on the show's schedule, and if they film like, half a season in one or two weeks, there is no reason to keep Jericho away from the WWE. After that, it doesn't look like he has to.
