WWE Raw LD Hates Rashad Evans So Much *Clinch* on 6/7

Again, this probably wasn't as good as Pillman's got a gun. That was ten times of what we just saw.

Having said that, it was very well done indeed. Consider this... The nxt rookies have been booked to (assumedly) beat the Undertaker into a vegetative state, and beat John Cena.... Where do we go from here?

Also, we were given fair warning by Wade. Just saw this posted somewhere else where someone transcribed his awesome promo...

"Savannah, I don't think you would ask a genius how it feels to pass a school exam, so I don't really understand why you're asking Wade Barret how it feels to win NXT.

Cause, let's be perfectly honest - the result of that show was never once in question, and it's just the start of something much, much greater.

Now, a little while ago, I told you that the winds of change were blowing in the WWE. So, if you want to talk to me about achievements, and accomplishments, maybe you should be asking me this question in one week's time? When something will have been accomplished, which has never been accomplished before, in the entire history of the WWE."
reading that promo gave me the chills.

As for the rest of the show, I missed the first 35 minutes of it, but the rest of the show had it's good moments and crappy moments. Most of the A-Team stuff was lame, although I liked the segment with Piper, Virgil, Dusty Rhodes, IRS, Mean Gene, and Ted Dibiase. Although I obviously liked it for the old school wrestlers, not the A-Team actors. The dance off between Santino and Vladimir was lame, yet kind of funny. I actually cracked up at Vladimir's dancing. Stupid, but kind of funny. I loved the Kane segments, especially the one with Bret Hart. While obviously Bret Hart would be in no way shape or form capable of taking out the Undertaker, the long time fan in me marked out at the fact that I was watching for the first time ever an interaction between Bret Hart and Kane (the character, not Glen Jacobs as they obviously had many matches when he was Issac Yankem and the fake Diesel). As Kane, the character debuted only a month before the Screwjob. The Kane and Shemus segment was good too, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing them in a feud. I think that would be good and could produce some solid matches.

The rest of the matches on the show were for the most part good. And of course the ending was absolutely phenomenal. It was a solid show until the A-Team actors showed up. That stuff was stupid.

It wasn't awful tv, it did what it was meant to do, be a viewers choice show. Like I just said in this thread, the ending was so good it makes anything compared to it look like shit.

Dude, a Tenta sighting? TENTA!!!!!!

Ending was nuts. Loved Danielson yelling "You're not better than me", and spitting in Cena's face.

I'd argue that the Pillman's Got a Gun ending was better.

I agree, although I didn't list it beings he said the last 10 years, as that was almost 14 years ago. Also some of the Attitude Era endings were amazing for entertainment factor.

But in the last 10 years (2000-2010) tonight's ending was up there.

But yeah, the Pillman/Austin segment was outstanding.

It wasn't meant to be a serious show (barring the ending) and it wasn't. The A-Team stuff was subtle yet funny, it plugged the movie and never took up a ton of time, the Hart Dynasty doesn't look like the Usos' bitches anymore, Miz beat Truth to set up a rematch, Edge injured Orton more and so on. Stories were advanced, the fans got to feel like a part of the show, we had decent wrestling, decent comedy and a great ending.

That sounds like a kick ass show to me.

Sounds like it was great(worked straight through it :banghead:) BUT Evan Bourne was not a participant so I'm mad.Maybe next week,I just hope they don't stall his push again.

And in TEW standards this show would constitute an A+

Not the LD. Everyone talking about Edge coming back and everything. Plus i just started watching wresling again for the first time since Rock and Austin. I moved in with my girl and she liked wrestling back in the day too so we started watching again.

Another thing I noticed about last night's ending was that the NXT guys were actually getting trash thrown at them. Now granted it wasn't near as much as in the heyday of the NWO, but yeah that's the first time I can ever recall in WWE that trash actually got thrown at the peformers in the ring. That's pretty major heat there.
