WWE Raw LD Hates Rashad Evans So Much *Clinch* on 6/7

Note: there are now official threads for these, one for spam and one for non-spam. Don't make anymore or I'll deal with you myself.

The only way that beat down could of been better is if Danielson had put a submission on Cena and have him tap.

First time, long time.

Watched wrestling for a while back in the mid 90s, but got out of it for a while. Slowly getting back into it.

I must say the little skit with the A-Team in the locker room was horrid, but the last segment caught my attention (for the part that I saw).

Name an ending on Raw that was as good as this one in the last 10 years?

Ric Flair's farewell ceremony on Raw the night after Wrestlemania 24. Although it was as good for completely different reasons. For nostalgic purposes and pure emotion as a life-long fan it was amazing.

But as for actual wrestling and storyline purposes, tonight's ending was one of the best perhaps ever. Certainly in the last 10 years without a doubt.

Hornswoggle being named Vince's son......
Vince getting blown the fuck up...
Vince getting attacked by the set during the million dollar giveaway crap....

No, wait, there has never been a better ending in the history of wrestling.

Agreed.

[/begin sarcasm] And it made it even more special because Flair actually stayed retired after it. [/end sarcasm]

I'd argue that the Pillman's Got a Gun ending was better.

Dude.... Did anyone else notice the armbands? Was no one else thinking "1930s Germany there"?...

Tonight was the first night in months that I've actually been home to watch Raw live (because I was working on Monday nights) and what an episode to "begin watching." I felt like it was 1996-1997 all over again watching the NWO run roughshed over everyone. This was one of the most awesome endings in the history of Raw, let alone the last few years. Incredible stuff.

Other than seeing Bret Hart return, I haven't been this excited to watch upcoming episodes of wrestling in years. Very well done. The only thing I would've changed was to have at least just a few wrestlers come out and try to help Cena only to get their asses handed to them. Didn't have to be anybody special. Could've been a few lower card guys, but I think the NXT guys would've looked even stronger if they took out more guys than just Cena and the Straight Edge Society and some weak, defenesless announcers. Although having a heel Punk try to save Cena really put over the fact that these NXT guys are serious business and are here to completely take over everyone (heels or faces).

Other than that, it was flawless. But is Barrett or Danielson the leader of this new stable?

Guys, that was Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch. With a shooting star press.

That was absolutely horrifying

EDIT: It was a 450.

Everyone else seems to be complaining about the rest of the show. Why? I thought it was fine. Not great or anything, but fine.

Also, we were given fair warning by Wade. Just saw this posted somewhere else where someone transcribed his awesome promo...

"Savannah, I don't think you would ask a genius how it feels to pass a school exam, so I don't really understand why you're asking Wade Barret how it feels to win NXT.

Cause, let's be perfectly honest - the result of that show was never once in question, and it's just the start of something much, much greater.

Now, a little while ago, I told you that the winds of change were blowing in the WWE. So, if you want to talk to me about achievements, and accomplishments, maybe you should be asking me this question in one week's time? When something will have been accomplished, which has never been accomplished before, in the entire history of the WWE."

The ending where the Raw set collapsed around Vince was actually a very well done ending and looked cool as hell. It looked legitimate to me and for a sec I wasn't sure what was happening. Unlike his limo exploding, this actually looked like something that could really happen. The limo explosion could've made for a good "whodunit" storyline, but it was just too over the top to be legitimate, so there was no way it was real. The set collapsing is something that could very well happen one day and would be a pretty scary and dangerous thing to happen. So to me that was probably the last great ending to Raw that I can recall until tonight.

Well it did feel a little too scripted for being a viewer's choice and some of the "matches" were questionable. But the biggest reason why is because the ending was so fucking awesome that anything compared to it looks like shit.

I hated the limo exploding. As he was walking to it I said out loud "That limo is going to blow up." Rather predictable to me.
