WWE RAW LD 1/03/10 - "The First RAW Of The New Year"

I would like everyone to remember that the Sugar Bowl is tomorrow. If you would like to watch Kniles Davis run the ball right up Ohio State's asshole, you should all watch.
I can tell you this, there is one thing I know THEE Ohio State University does better then Arkansas. That's sell their game used jerseys without NCAA permission.

That cage match was poorly thought out. Hated how Barrett could have just walked out of the cage but did not on so many occasions when the other two were busy with each other.

so in other words it was like every triple thread cage match known to man. OK.

No, it sucked because Blandy Boreton was nice and predictable and won in such a non-climatic way yet again. I swear I would've turned the tv off if Barrett and Sheamus weren't in the match. If it was, oh, for sake of argument, Orton, Truth, and Henry. Instant click, tv off, done. Why couldn't Barrett have injured Orton instead of Cena? At least Cena has personality...

The Miz/Morrison match just goes to show that if you have two young guys who can put on a match and have great chemistry together then just go for it, it is not fucking rocket science. I liked the cage match, solid ending to a solid to great Raw.

That is true and thats why it should just be a normal triple threat match instead of in a cage. Cage would have worked better if the heels were allied with each other against the face. Then it would be a triple threat in name only. Make the face look more awesome.

because he is the leader of the most hated stable in the WWE maybe? All he did was kick Barrett off the Cage and take off his armband, it's not like he did something extraordinary or anything.

His promo wasn't up to his usual standards, I'll agree JGlass. But the fact that he so quickly gave up his spot in the cage match, shows a true heel who isn't focused solely on titles, but has a more elaborate plan in the works.

As for the cage match itself. Punk taking Barrett's armband was like spitting in the face of Barrett. Not only did he steal the man's stable, but he acted like he was going to help him, cost him a WWE Title match, and basically said "Fuck You" you're not good enough to lead Nexus and to wear that armband. He betrayed him, stole from him, mocked him, and embarrassed him. It was simple but effective imo.

Another great episode of RAW which continues the run of great episodes keep it up WWE.

Anyone notice who the cliffhangers are still happening as CM Punk betrayed Barrett which now makes us think "What will Barrett do now?" can't wait for next week.

I have one gripe with tonight's RAW... no Daniel Bryan. What's up with that?

I think he filmed a Superstars match beforehand. Honestly it would have been good to see him on the show,as this was a rare chance to see one of my fav's perform as I cannot watch Raw often. But it may just be a night off for him, he has been ( like evreyone else) busting his ass off, he deserves a night off. However, maybe creative just does not know what to do with him.

Ty Burna that may be the greatest sig of all time, litrelly, I think I just jizzed.

But yeah, that match will silence anyone who says that those guys cannot put on a great match becuase they are not doing flips evrey second.

I'm gonna be a broken record since I'm watching on a 2 1/2 half hour delay, but holy fucking shit that match was awesome. Morrison looked fantastic, as did the Miz.
