WWE RAW LD 1/03/10 - "The First RAW Of The New Year"

To me, his peak was his run as Palace of Wisdom heel Morrison. He was hilarious then.

I feel like his interactions with Miz signify a friendly rivalry, and that's exactly how I want this to stay. Every feud shouldn't have to be good and evil epic battle of rage and hatred. Good, clean fun can draw sometimes to with the right chemistry between the performers.

Agreed, he had such a monotonic voice, but for some reason that made him come across as more charasmatic, his Dirt Sheet(ironically with Miz) is some of the funniest material I belive the WWE has put out this decade.

Funny now looking back to 2008, now in 2011, we have a main eventer and someone on the brink of main event in these two dude's.

I agree, and I wasn't implying that I wanted it to turn into HBK/Jericho or something. But if this feud is going to be a longer term thing, it's going to have to escalate above "friendly" eventually.

Kayfabe wise, Miz should be sick and tired of Morrison by now and should be vicious with him like he was with Lawler. To prove once and for all that he's the better of the two so that he'd never have to share the spotlight with JoMo again.

Sorry had to take dump.

But yeah, if they handle it properly it can be something special. I see from your sig your a Barret fan, I agree, I feel he is superb, however they must handle him in the best manner possible.

I agree Gordon. Because, this would be a big waste of time, given the fact that already WWE ditched Kaval in the unemployment line, and he is quite talented in the ring. Barrett is quite the talent in the ring as well, even without Nexus, he would be great, and with this 'management' overthrow, there is no 'middle ground' on this kind of thing. Its either a success or failure and is to be a launching pad for Wade to singles career. I do think that having him at the helm of the most hated group in WWE as of right now was a superb move on creative's part. I do agree that Cena's injury being ill timed doesn't help, but that should NOT be an excuse to pussyfoot around with the current storylines as of yet. Also, being a realist, Nexus DID attack Cena at the end of RAW last week, but reality is, Cena was fighting Barrett at a house show, and if creative was smart, they could play off that to have some kind of battle for leadership to see "WHO really took out Cena" if he is unable to perform tonight. That would be a great power play as of right now until the shot is called.

Call me stupid(don't) but I always had a vision of these two sharing a Wrestlemania moment. Like Benoit and Guerrero, like they fought together to achive the dream kind of thing. Before anyone starts the moaning I am not comparing them to those two wreslters, but the same idea.

But the way they are going is fine, and I agree with what was said before, this is for the long term more than anything.

That is a great idea. Props for that one. I feel a power strugle could have a somewhat good effect. However, like you said, if Nexus is the most hated group in WWE at the moment, they could not be a face faction. It was diffrent with Bryan, as he was only involved in the original attacks, but Wade was the leader for a near 6 months, could they turn him face so suddenly?? I agree about Kaval, he was shit hot in the ring and to let him go was a mistake, but to be fair, Ziggler has been the main highlight of the Smackdown midcard.

Althroguh with the original point, think a heel vs heel storyline could work??

Didn't work at last years Royal Rumble.

I know, I am not a fan of it either. However, I suppose it depends on who it is in the fued.

In an interesting development, the steel cage is apparently hanging above the ring.

Intresting indeed, I see Miz cheating to win then the "GM" emailing saying that due to outside interferance the match will now be a steel cage match.

See...that's just it Gordon. By Wade fighting CM Punk against Nexus, he's going to be in a losing battle. He'll end up realizing he's in a losing battle when he realizes that even though he may have helped Gabriel and Slater win a title, that they still won't help him feeling more devotion to Punk. Even with that being said, he'll have no choice but to back down, and feeling defeated, he retreats. CM Nexus, thinking they have won, end up standing victorious over RAW. However, before Wade leaves, is when Tarver, Sheffield show up as rogue players. Letting Punk know they are undecided as to who they would be loyal to, come RR or whatever PPV by the time things are shaped up. FF to PPV and its a falls count anywhere match, and that depending on the winner, Tarver and Sheffield will have their decision made. During the match, Punk is making his way to the back with Barrett, cleaning his clock, and then drags him into a desolate hallway, and he drags him into the Nexus locker room and orders his guys to beat him up. Little does he realize that when they pull off the hooded robes, its Tarver, Sheffield, Young, and Bryan, and Cena. They beat down Punk, and have beaten down Punks cronies... thereby giving Wade the win. That's how I'd book it. LOL

Despite everything I said earlier about Morrison winning tonight, I will be pulling for him in this match. Go JoMo!
