LSN, they built to tonight. They didn't deliver enough tonight. It is really that simple. Of course Jericho being back will likely be a positive for the product but that isn't the complaint. What happens next week is somewhat irrelevant.

It was at 10:37, when Y2J returned.

Central puts it same time. He basically spoiled the segment that took the crowd 5 minutes too long to get.

They want him to be heel. It is very difficult to get the fans to boo someone with Jericho's reputation when he returns from a long hiatus. This was the way to do it.

Brain is right here people. There was no doubt he was going to get cheers. Even when he's a heel, most people love Jericho. He's been one of the best for years now. This entire thing is leading to Mania which is 3 months away, why spoil it all now?

I think WWE is oversaturated with shows and ppvs these days and rarely do we get really good builds to Mania. Think of Michaels/Austin or Austin/Rock which were built for months. Nowadays we get builds for just 5 or 6 weeks between EC and WM itself. I'm all for a long, slow build

You're subscribing to the idea that all talk is good talk. It isn't.

If this was the first thing that happened in this entire build, it's a different story. If Jericho had shown up out of nowhere and done that, no vignettes - fine. Fantastic, even. I'd love it.

This was a set up move when we're clearly in the midgame of the story. There was far too much emotional investment here for them not to give us anything of substance. And no, finding out that it's Jericho is not substantial enough. Not at this stage of the game.

The problem is you're mad at WWE when you should be mad at Jericho.

I understand what people are saying about the whole "wait-and-see" concept of the Jericho angle, but the problem wasn't as lack of storyline advancement etc... it was that the segment was absoloutley fucking horrible. I'm a big Chris Jericho fan, and even I'll tell you that was weak as hell.

No matter what they mean, or how you get them, boos are boos. They can only grow from here.

I'm sorry, was the majority of the crowd booing Jericho? It was a handful of people at best, and you can't possible tell me you believe those boos will carry over next week. Those people will be just as happy to see Jericho as Memphis was at first tonight. No one there will boo him.

What does he have to do? Cut a god damn promo, if they want him to be a heel. If he does that next week, all they did here was waste everyone's time.
