my whole question is this: if wwe and tna can come together on terms about ric flair being at the hall of fame does anyone else think that there could possibly be a co wwe/tna supercard sometime down the line? i know that it's really far fetched, but i think it would be a pretty good card.

That's what i want to see WM.. Let roh, tna and wwe come together to showcase their best talent in one show.. ROH vs ROH, WWE vs WWE, TNA vs TNA.

Just Imagine seeing your favorite stars from tna, roh and wwe come together for one true "Wrestlemania". I Would cry if this would to happen ... lol

But will never happen in a million years sadly

I would like to believe that they all just came to an agreement to have Flair there because it's the horseman but I'm sure there were a lot of wheels to grease. I'm still glad they came to what I believe is the right decision. I just hope all the surrounding stuff doesn't overshadow the induction for Arn, Tully, Windham and Dillon.(I still think Ole should be there)

If TNA is mentioned at all I think Flair should thank WWE for having him there while working for TNA and thank TNA for supporting him going. That's classy towards both companies and nothing else needs to be said. Don't ruin one of the few times the "good" has been put above "business" in wrestling.

[QUOTE="The Living Legend" Johnny Gunnz;3796858]Look back through history and answer your own question. Vince doesn't do business with the competition, he buys the competition.

See, I completely understand that. McMahon never has done anything like this before, that i can remember (letting someone from another promotion on his show.) Now i know it's Ric Flair and it's a special occasion, but, I believe that this could open the door for a WWE/TNA supershow. Just my opinion.

If there is one thing Flair has proven through the years it is that he has the utmost respect for the industry as a whole and the performers. Flair ruining the ceremony by promoting TNA would overshadow the whole night for his teammates as well as Edge, Ron Simmons, the late Yokozuna, etc. No way Flair would want to be remembered for that. Flair has talked repeatedly over the years about the tremendous respect he has for Vince as well as his friendship with HHH & Shawn Michaels. Certainly WWE made arqangements that Flair would not promote TNA before hand. Flair has too much appreciation for the guys working to disrespect them like that, plus he's said repeatedly how much his last WWE run meant to him.

As far as the notion that Flair could never work for WWE I ask why ? McMahon has always been a fan of his and probably treated him better than any other non-WWE made superstar. They have always had a respectful relationship in part because Flair always had a rep for towing the company line, even when he disagreed. That is a lot more than you can say for Austin or Kevin Nash.

As for him disrespecting his WWE send off by working in TNA, do you realize how few people watch TNA or even know it exists ? RAW ratings are lower than they were when they were in direct competition with Nitro in the pre NWO /Attitude era. They are still more than double Impact's ratings, and since his 1st year there Flair has been a part time on air presence anyway. I work with a lot of people who watch wrestling, none of them knows Flair is under contract to TNA, only 1 of them actually knows what TNA is. You have to be a real die hard fan to even be aware of TNA let alone know who works there. If Flair working for TNA "ruined" his sendoff then isnt HBK ruining his sendoff with his involvement in Wrestlemania this year ? Didnt Flair already ruin the sendoff with his involvement in WM 25 ?

Finally, did you really think WWE would have done the Horsemen induction if they didnt want Flair on their program and think he would appear ? If WWE didnt think Flair was important to the induction they would have put the H-men in when Wrestlemania was in Atlanta a few years ago, the heart of WCW. Flair almost certainly could mt have appeared then because the ink was barely dry on his original TNA deal.

If anything I would think WWE did this to get Flair back in the fold and convince him to leave TNA

WWE bringing Flair was a classy move. They didn't have to go to the lengths that they did to bring him in. I'm sure money was spent and royalties were given to TNA on that night. But bringing in Flair was clearly the right thing to do. It made the night that much more special and gave Flair the send off that he deserves.

One inductee that I hope to see in the future is VKM himself. If there is any one man who absolutely deserves to be in the HOF, its him. And I would love to see it happen in NYC, the territory he built his empire upon.

WWE did a pretty good job with the Hall of Fame inductees this year since they had a rather good group where most of them made sense as inductees, compared to most years when only a couple of names per group stick out. Their Hall of Fame is a joke compared to what a real Hall of Fame should be like, although this year they had a good number of deserving entrants that got in. The Four Horsemen were a great choice and each of them should already have been in, other than Flair who of course was inducted 4 years ago. It was cool that he got a second induction alongside his stable.

Then there's Edge. Despite his career tragically ending too soon, he got to leave on a good note. He retained the World Championship at Wrestlemania last year and this year his best friend inducted him into the Hall of Fame. 11 time World Champion, 14 time Tag Team Champion, 5 time Intercontinental Champion, 1 time US Champion, King of the Ring, Royal Rumble winner in 2010, and two successful Money In the Bank cash-in's. Edge has a very impressive list of accomplishments and will go down in history as one of the best. One can only wonder how much more he would have ended up achieving if he had been able to stick around for a longer career.

Simmons and Yokozuna made more sense than many previous inductees, so I wasn't that opposed to seeing them get in. I'm not familiar with Mil Máscaras, so I have no major thoughts there. Tyson shouldn't have gotten in though. I absolutely HATE when they do celebrity inductions. This is why WWE's Hall of Fame is a joke and makes no sense in the grand scheme of things. Guys like Undertaker or The Rock who are legends of the WWE are not in (yet).... but people like Mike Tyson, Drew Carey, or Pete Rose get in based on little appearances? It makes me so angry. At least this year's group of inductees was much more deserving overall than the groups we have seen in previous years.
