Holy shit. The roster is better than Smackdown Here Comes The Pain. How is this 30 years of Mania if their have been 29 though?

What I hope will be added to this game is more speed and adrenaline in matches like the TNA game (which still has better graphics than WWE games), and also allow WWE Universe stories for all superstars. Last year I wanted a brand consisting of the current era of stars only, but the major storylines were only for Attitude stars. The closest I got to a real storyline cutscene was Dolph Ziggler attacking R-Truth before a match.

This is the first game with Hogan, Austin and Cena on the same roster.

I don't think he is. I don't remember him being announced during the stream tonight when they announced the Wrestlemania mode roster.

That is not the full roster. That is just the roster for the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode. The entire roster (AKA the current guys) will be revealed at a later date.

I think it would be cool for the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode to end with you booking Wrestlemania 30 and them giving you a success rate for the show.

I hope, I pray, that they reveal a GM-like mode soon. I like Universe, but I never get into it as much as the old GM modes. I like the money side, the morale side, the injuries, the trades, the fans choosing shows, the ratings, the rivalries, and things like that. I like starting with a blank slate each week and building your show(s) the best you can to obtain more fans. You don't get any of this with Universe mode. At least not like before. I pray for and up to date version of General Manager Mode.

Yeeeuuup. this is the exact stuff im talking about in my other posts, though I would it to be a little easier to make money than in the old version. just one that is a bit more refined and works with better logic.


I also would like for both sets of things to happen....you make up the segments of the show, and then before each segment, choose if there will be a user created event(IE interference, challenege, attack), or a CPU iniated event. You can then edit and alter as you see fit, or let the CPU do the next event in the storyline, etc etc.

I dig the 30 years of Mania roster, some nice names and some new ones. I don't mind legends in the game though I rarely use them, but there are some different names in there at least so that is fine by me. I hope to see an expanded modern roster featuring the likes of Tyson Kidd and some other lower card guys, but mostly Tyson Kidd.

Im really interested to see how they do the Shields entrance. 2K is known for their amazing level of attention to authenticity, so I am hoping the little cheap corners that usually get cut arent so this year. The varying / authentic arenas so far are a hopeful indication of quality and attnenion to detail

There's over 30 matches in the mode. THey've said that before, I don't recall where but I've seen it a few times.

You want to play his match against Lesnar?

While I wasn't the person you were replying to, hell yes I want to play Lesnar/Goldberg. While the actual match sucked, it was a match between 2 dominant stars and had both men not be leaving it could have been great. Now thanks to 2K14 I can make it such.

I was just saying to my buddy today that I really hope we get Shield coming down from the stands and hoping the barricade. It'll make the entrance look so much better.

I'm surprised they haven't put Mr T and Piper on the game with the WM mode being a big deal this year. I wouldnt be shocked if it turned out they were part of a DLC with extra matches from past WrestleManias.

Do we know how big the total roster on this game is gonna be (WM and regular roster characters).

Will the likes of Curtis Axel, RVD, Fandango be on it?

Yeah. Piper is just as important to Mania 1 as Hogan & Mr. T.

Fandango has been around long enough where i'm sure he'll be on the game. RVD and Axel i'm not so sure on. But they might end up being DLC.
