Yeah I feel pretty dumb for pre ordering even the deluxe edition, but alas it's not the first time and probably wont be the last.

Just downloaded the NXT pack, they got the models pretty good for the 4 guys in it. About to play as them in a match and see how they play. My only complaint is Elias has an outdated theme but that's not a huge deal considering he barely uses his current one.
I'm really enjoying using Ruby Riot and Aleister Black.
I agree about the earlier mention of Vader. That was a really awesome surprise.
Despite missing a couple people I used regularly, namely Brian Pillman and Arn Anderson, I'm finding myself playing quite a bit more than I did last year.

Has anyone really jumped into career mode? I've heard mixed things, but Microsoft sent me a 30% off coupon to make up for an error on my account. I'm considering the purchase.
Career mode is lacking quite a bit.
They went back to having very specific tasks, there's a lot of repetition in the backstage interactions.
It was better when you could really dictate your own career path.
Feuds are pretty standard of what you would expect from these games.

I really wish they'd dump career mode and bring back season mode from Smackdown vs raw 2008, or road to wrestlemania mode.
