WWE 14 Hype thread

Just finished watching the moves live stream today. Disappointed with it to say the least as instead of showing off a ton of moves they showed about 8-10 moves just replaying them like 8 times each.

I will say I LOVE being able to spear people through the chamber pods now, much better than the lame irish whip into the pod to break it.

Also happy that Ambrose has the Knee Trembler as his second finisher and Rollins has both the Blackout and his Diving Knee as his finishers.

Yup. Although thinking back now I don't remember seeing it but a few people in the livestream chat were mentioning it so I assume it was shown during the time my stream froze.

This may be a stupid question to ask but screw it. This game is the first one I've preordered before and it made me curious as to how I'll be able to get Ultimate Warrior as playable in the game? Do I just unlock him like every other legend, have him from the start or what?

If anybody could answer that'd be great.

You'll have whenever you download him.

A code for The Ultimate Warrior will be given to you with your purchase. Entrance of this code will unlock The Ultimate Warrior as a playable character; you will be able to play as him as soon as you enter the code. Same thing with American Badass Undertaker.

Alright. Where will I enter the code though? I take it I'll need XBOX Live to get him?

You don't need an Xbox Live Gold membership to redeem codes; a silver account should work fine. With that said, however, an internet connection is required. While I'm confident on this, I'm not entirely completely sure.

You can redeem codes via the console or online. To redeem a code on the Xbox console, you have to go to the Xbox guide (push the center button on the controller) and then locate the "redeem code" tab. It's a painless process usually.

if you dont have XBL, the DLC and access to the CC are WELL worth it. Ive gotten s many CAWS that look like game models of guys not in the game off there

NorCal is right, some of the CAWs created off community creations are incredible, it's the only reason I but X-Box live membership!

There are some CAWs that use actual photos on the character selection screen, on my WWE13 I must have downloaded about 15 like that, how have people managed that? And also getting actual photos of logos/faces on wrestlers attires? This has always puzzled me, do they hack into the game or something?

I got an especially elaborate James Storm one.

and I was equally as amazed and utterly bewildered about the pictures you are talking about. Epic. and absurd.

Yeah this is true. My friend had WWE12 and I was searching around CC on his XBOX one night and found an amazing Jushin Liger and an amazing Sting.

Although I have already begun saving the CAW formulas I have from WWE13 for my best ones that came from a formula online. So far I have The Motor City Machine Guns, Brooke Tessmacher, Mickie James, AJ Styles, Austin Aries and James Storm set and ready to remake on WWE2K14.

Im sorry to report that the Shield etnrance is weak as shit. Rollins doesnt even do his flip over the rails thingy. All of their individual entrances are weak too.

On the other hand, the new Bret Hart and Retro Ric Flair entrances rock.

Yeah I gotta agree on The Shield entrance being weak. Was hoping they'd walk down from the stairs and have Rollins flip but they don't. I gotta say that Rollins Blackout Finisher looks great though. May have to give that one to my CAW.

How can everyone forget the best part of all of this?

WWE Legendary manager and POP CULTURE ICON VIRGIL is in the DLC!

Oh, as is Big E and FAHHHHHN......DAHHHHHN....GOOOO!

More superstar heads including long haired CM Punk and clean shaven Daniel Bryan is a good addition too, and Syxx as a character in the nWo pack. There is also a move on the DLC called the 'Soda Plunge' according to a clip on youtube I watched, so guess that's the Pepsi Plunge.

Surprised that Axel didn't make the DLC, and The Uso's. Is anyone actually going to play as Summer Rae?!

Is it specifically for 2k14? Doesn't Assassin's Creed and Battlefield come out the same day? I imagine that is the reason for the midnight release, 2k14 just happens to fall on that release date.
