Finally Jimmy Jacobs shows up in this thing, I expected him to be kinda low (if even in this thing), Unfortunately it doesn't look like he'll last very long, Taking on Sandman in ECW does not favor the AOTF leader in the slightest, Basically he's fucked, which is too bad, cause I'd like to see the kid go a few rounds in this thing, he's one of those guys just just has always been able to get my attention, no matter what he's doing, and has always put on great matches, his Cage match with BJ whitmore was fucking great, and I remember him having an "I Quit" match with Alex Shelley, that I thought was fucking amazing as well, I think he could definetly hang with Sandman, But I just can't see him winning, especially since most fans have probably never heard of Jimmy Jacobs

gosh, I need to start watching wrestling more, or these are people from promotions i never heard of. Like Jimmy Jacobs, never heard of him, or Nikita Koloff, I love how the Godfather got a higher seed than Goldberg ( unless I am reading wrong :(), whats up with that? The picture of Lex Luger freaked me out, and i was glad to see that Noble gets some respect. I am also curious to see how the Road Dogg got a higher seed them some pretty good performers, I guess he wanted to shake rattle and roll his way to the top . O well I like how it is shaping out, and I can not wait to vote.

Ron Killings is going to get murdered by Yokozuna. I don't care how fast or athletic he is, Yoko in his prime is going to steamroll him in 5 minutes.

Awesome vs Blanchard will be a great 1st round match. Mike Awesome has a great pain tolerance, but Blanchard is such a technician.

Jannetty will school Noble. Jamie doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell, I would not care if it was a "Trailer Park Trashcan Match" Jannetty still has him.

I'm morte intrested in seeing this thread now. As more of the wrestlers I voted for are starting to appear. I think I spot a few of Shadowmancers as well. The only problem with my picks is that nobody else is going to vote for them. Oner of the posters above hasn't even heard of Nikita Koloff.

I was looking at the brackets and ii noticed that you have Shelton Benjamin in the ECW bracket and the WCW bracket, and i believe MVP should be the one in the ECW bracket not Shelton, i just thought u should know.

And i'm also pumped to vote as alot of names are rolling through. I'm also surprised that Muhammed Hassan got such a high rating, i thought he'd be lower. The Marty Janetty and Jamie Noble match up looks very good also. I'm very excited for this to begin.

The TNA region seems to be the one I'm most interested in, so I'll supply my thoughts on that one first. The announced matches, that is. I may do this for the other ones as well, but I don't know if I'll have the time.

Seed 32 Shane McMahon vs. Seed 33 KENTA
This one is a tough one. Not only are the two seeded close together, they've got completely different fanbases. Shane McMahon is sports entertainment's ultimate spot monkey (Jeff Hardy, eat your heart out... please) and KENTA is one of the wrestling purist's top choices. My prediction though is that the WWE faithful will overwhelm the rightful winner and Shane O'Mac will walk out victorious.

Seed 31 Juventud Guerrera vs. Seed 34 Scott Norton
This one is a tough one for me to predict, considering - despite what I can make apparent - I know pretty much fuck all about either competitor. From the little I know about him, I'll go with Juventud's slightly higher profile and higher seeding. IrishCanadian will be disappointed to see Norton go out so early.

Sorry, I got a bit bored just now, but I may finish this sometime.

You've sadly just signed yourself up to be my new pet project, Sammy.

Juvi Juice doesn't have a prayer against Norton. A weak high spot money facing off against a former World Arm Wrestling champion and former 3-time Japanese Heavyweight Wrestling Champion with a 600+ pound bench press?

Also, you have to ask yourself if Juvi will no-show the event or not. Him and his stupid little ego.

On March 9th, 1998, Scott Norton massacred Juventud Guerrero. Check the archives. It was a quick match and Juvi never stood a chance, as he doesn't this time.

I am not sure how to link You Tube onto here, but there are a few awesome Norton matches on You Tube. The match against Juvi wasn't posted because it's such a squash.

The man is a BEAST! Juvi doesn't deserve your vote. Flash does.

Vote Scott "Flash" Norton.

Love these new matches. Perry Saturn vs Billy Kidman is a strong match up between former WCW mainstays with a great deal of technical and high flying skills. Both men sort of represent the "wasted talent" category of that generation of stars because their friends and counterparts all went a great deal farther than they did.

Rick Steiner vs Ken Shamrock is a match of two hard nosed, tough vets with a tremendous background - Rick in amateur wrestling and Ken in MMA. I'd love to see how that one gets voted.

You've sadly just signed yourself up to be my new pet project, Sammy.

Good, because beyond WWE between 1990-something and now, and TNA between... since it's been open and now, my wrestling knowledge isn't very densely packed; there's bits and pieces lying all over the place. I could use some help when voting for some of the more obscure wrestlers.

As it is, I'm sticking with what I know. I just pity the guy who has to face Kurt Angle in his hometown in the first round. I'd go mental if there was an upset. Seriously.

I also feel sorry for Shelley, despite the fact that I'm certain he'll go far enough to be eliminated by Y2J.

Man I can't belive Elijah Burke is in this thing. I like him but what has he done? He hasn't even got through on nostaligia reasons. I blame Colamania for this. Possibly Luther. Colamania because he said he struggled to come up with 100 wrestlers, BS I could have come up with a top 500 easily. And Luther because he went on WWE.com and wrote down the ones with the nicest hair.

It's been a few days so this may be long! Glad to see Nikita Koloff I know one of you said you never heard of him but please look up NWA/WCW in the 80's. A match that should have the seeds reversed. Antoni vs Roderick Strong. I admitted earlier I didn't know the Japanese wrestlers well but even I know of Antoni. He should easily win this one even if he is the lower seed. Next comment is on the picture of Robert Roode, don't know where you found this one but I know he'll hates its out there. Another good one to see in is Lou Thez. I think he is forgotten among the early greats. However bad draw getting the hammer, because late 70's early 80's Greg was great and he'll get my vote. A match that worries this Horsemen fan is Blanchard vs Mike Awesome. I feel like the ECW fans will vote hard for Awesome, and with his untimely death I think that will come in to play. I think he was a great talent but he might could lase up Tully's Boots but that's it. Techinal and dirtness wins over brawn. Another wrestler I like is ELiX Skipper. The cage walk is still unbeliveable. However I saw the Sarge in his heyday and he should take him down easily. I think one of the best techinal matches will be Perry Saturn vs Billy Kidman. They could match each other move for move similar to Kidman and Misterio. I think Perry' s strength plays out in this one and with the submission moves I go with Perry.

Here are my picks up to round 3. I will wait on picking 3rd round until the official rule is in place. Last I read it was still higher seed pick but that was thinking about being replaced. I hope so and if I've missed something please let me know.
ECW
Chris Jerico, Tommy Dreamer(only over Rikishi because of the location), Tom Billington, Ted Diabase, Edge, Steve Corino, Sid Vicious(I'm sure Rey will probably win that bracket but I think Sid should, and the Big Show
TNA
Kurt Angle, Dusty Rhodes, CM Punk, Jimmy Snuka(this was hard picking him over Dean Malenko but I have since quite a few of Jimmy's match in his heyday and I give him the slight node), Nikita Koloff(I think RVD will win this bracket but Nikita when he was the Russian Nightmare and with that cicle was awesome), JBL, The Rock, and Scott Hall.
WWE
Shawn Michaels, Ultimo Dragon, Ron Simmons, Bam Bam Bigelow, AJ Styles, Davey Boy Smith( Can't wait until AJ vs Davey Boy voting this could be the match of the touranment up to that point), Christain Cage, The Great Muta. I hope Muta takes Cage out. I think Cage is pretty good but Muta was a better wrestler.
I cannot locate the bracket for WCW if it is out there and someone could help let me know. Also if the 3rd round has been decided yet.

Great to Adulah the bucther and Superstar Billy Graham. Had Adulah ever been in ECW he could've been heavyweight champ. He was great with weapons and could take some pain. He and Bruiser Brody had some classics.

I think this is the worst foursome I have seen yet (Scorpio, Mitchinoku, Butcher, and Holly) and I'd be shocked if any one of them made it to round two.

The way I can best describe these four is OVER RATED. Scorpio probably made it on to the tournament due to his ECW links, but he wasn't much of anything special in my opinion. He was a collection of failed gimmicks and his only real accomplishment was the modern proliferation of the one-and-a-half flip splash.

Mitchinoku is the classic spot monkey. He looks so unassuming, as if a normal sized man would break him in half. Most of his matches were predicated on visually impressive high risk offense, and his finishing weapon, the Mitchinoku Driver, is rendered useless if Taka is facing anyone with weight on them. Rick Martel's Boston Crab will snap Taka's toothpick of a spine in half. Being in the TNA region is his ONLY shot.

Despite my recent Superheavyweight Soapbox, I was never impressed with Abdullah. Maybe I have not seen his best work, but every image I have of him is just a bloodied heap in the ring. Every finger you could point at Taka for high spots you could point at Abdullah for violent spots. In the WCW region he's hopeless. Ultimate Warrior in under 5 minutes.

And Bob Holly. Where do I begin? Thank god he went through the character transformation he did from Sparky Plugg to Hardcore Holly, but the guy is a walking injury report. He's never held a major singles title. I give him credit for being so loyal to the WWE - only the Undertaker has wrestled for more consecutive years without a lapse in employment - but he's accomplished little. Without the ECW Title or Hardcore division, he's only good for getting young guys over in tag team action and punishing young egoists for backstage transgressions. What a fool.
