And that is it for the top half of the tournament. From here on out, anyone that comes out, you'll know the matches. I will have updated brackets later on tonight so it is easier to keep track of.

This is a test, I will edit this post if it doesn't work.

So for now, check this link out to keep up to date with the WWE Brackets (If this link works)

Keep in mind this is a work in progress, but you're getting the general lay out of the tournament, and potential second round matchups as well.

The bracket is not working CA.But anyway try try and try again!

Good to see Kaz up there his ladder match is legendary.

the brackets are looking fine to me. and this tournament is surely going to be great. i am looking forward to jeff hardy v/s jerry lynn in round two provided they can both get passed their opponents in round one.

I can see the Brackets now and standout matches are:

Jay Lethal vs AJ Styles
The most high-flying in TNA Today battling it out?Sounds good to me.In real life it would be a classic.

Nash vs Lesnar
Say what you want but would be interesting if it happened.2 giants from 2 different eras.Smell the buyrate!

Infractions for any spamming beyond this point. Emo Kid you need to improve in every aspect of your posting. You suck. That is all.

Y 2 Jake (admin)

Ok, I know Batista sucks, but I'm suprised that he's still not in this. WWE, take note.

I was nice enough to give Batista way more than he deserves, 1 point lol, I think I made him #100 on my list.

The brackets worked fine when I clicked on it Asparagus, if those are the legit match-ups than there are already a lot of tough toss-ups for me to choose from lol.

I think this tournament is going to bring up a lot of controversary, especially with Benoit, it should be very interesting when things get started to say the least.

I can see the Brackets now and standout matches are:

Jay Lethal vs AJ Styles
The most high-flying in TNA Today battling it out?Sounds good to me.In real life it would be a classic.

I think this match has already happened in real life. I'd definitely be surprised if it hadn't. If it did, AJ Styles is definitely the best wrestler in every aspect, and, if the brackets stay as they are, Lethal will be getting his arse handed to him. Popularity contest or wrestling contest, whatever this turns into, Styles is superior.

Nash vs Lesnar
Say what you want but would be interesting if it happened.2 giants from 2 different eras.Smell the buyrate!

Two giants, yes, but two very different wrestlers. Popularity-wise it's all up in the air. It really depends how many old-school WCW fans are on the forums really. I think we have more Lesnar-era WWE fans on the boards to be quite honest. Wrestling-wise, they both have the size, but Lesnar has the speed, the muscle, the strength (more so than Nash, IMO) and agility. Although that last one isn't exactly his specialty, he has spades more than Nash. Clear winner, probably. That winner being Lesnar.

it would really depend if it was nash when he was OZ in early wcw days or now.if was nash now i would still wounder because of ring experiance.then you would think about power, that could go to nash with his size, but brock is no small boy by any means.what it comes down to is stamina, which i think brock would win with that alone,he is younger and in better shape.

This is shaping up to be a great tournament.

In the WWE region, it looks like HBK will be facing either Styles or Cage in round 3. And Benoit will probably face Sting, setting up HBK/Benoit in round 4. Sadly, Cena won't be going too far in this, he might not even get past round 1. Overall, it looks like a pretty easy route for HBK to win the region.

In the WCW region, I'm hoping for a Hart/Savage Iron Man Match in round 3. That would be the match of the tournament, as Hart and Savage are quite possibly the two greatest wrestlers, pound for pound, of all time. I hope Hogan goes far, but like Cena he's unpopular on these forums, so he probably won't. So I think it'll be Eddie/HHH in round 3, and then Hart/HHH in round 4, which will be a close one, but I tip Hart.

In the ECW region, it'll probably be Jericho/Edge or Mysterio in round 3, and the winner of that match will almost definitely face Undertaker in round 4. I predict Undertaker to win this region.

And finally, the TNA region looks like the toughest one to pick a winner from. Angle/Rock or RVD, and Austin/Flair will most likely be the round 3 matches. Austin/Flair will be very close. It's a 3-way toss up between Angle, Austin and Flair to win the region.

Hello! I'm new to this and I was wondering if someone could explain to me how this whole thing works! I know it's a pain to deal with newbies but I would really love to know how this works and hopefully be a part of it. If not this year, then maybe next year!

The Wrestlezone Tournament

Alright, that link should be up to date with every bracket on there. Obviously I probably made some mistakes, but that's the general lay out of it right now. As Jake said, the spamming rule is in effect, so please respect it or you will be given infractions.

Flash is in the HOUSE!

I know it is only due to my vote for him, but Scott "Flash" Norton has an easy draw in a region that will present some problems for him. Norton is one of the most underrated Superstars of all time, as I have argued in Old School Wrestling, and should make it a few rounds through this tournament.

While many will be getting in the corner of guys like Kurt Angle, HHH, etc, I ask you to stop and research Scott "Flash" Norton. He is called "flash" because of how quickly he beat his opponents. Like me, he is a legend in Japan.

Hello Everyone!
I don't mean to be a drag but I'm kind of new to the forums group and I really wanna be involved. I saw this tournament thread and I think it looks very interesting. I was wondering how it works and how you get involved! If anyone has the time to explain it to me I would really appreciate it.

As far as I know, once the brackets are complete, which should be in a few weeks, links will be posted for voting, with the results being announced the next day. The tournament will progress as it advances, with gimmicks being integrated in the later rounds, until there is one final winner.

I see! Thx! So the winner of each match is determined by votes? and I guess we can vote on whatever criteria we want? Like whether it would be the wrestler now, or at it's prime and things like that right?

Well when I voted last year I based it on in their primes. Also you'll have to take into account the area of the match. For example, if the sandman is facing HHH in the ecw arena, what would usually be a squash is now up for grabs. Also later on there will be gimmicks incorporated. One of the matches last year was hogan and aj styles in a ladder match.

I beg the TNA boys to look up the old wrestlers. Sonjay will probably beat Iron Shiek but that shouldn't be the case. The Iron shiek was great is his day. Also this isn't a knock on TNA because I am starting to like it as good if not better because you actually see wrestling. If it were AJ vs. Shiek I would go with AJ but not Sonjay! Also to OZZY I echo Klunder last year I looked at their prime first and overall career achievement 2nd. I do ask that you respect the gimmicks or regions. I am still sore about Big Show defeating Steamboat but I voted for big show because it was a slam match. I think and hope the higher seed picking the gimmick will be gone this year but respect whatever rules and laid down and not just vote for the popular one. I am a Flair/Horsemen fan till the day I die. However if AA got put again Undertaker I would vote for Undertaker and not my favorite.

Thx a lot for everyone who is helping me understand this. I really appreciate it. Now I can't wait for this thing to get started. I think it's gonna be lots of fun.

Well this is my first post on this site. This tourney is looking to be really incredible and I really can't wait. I too am only familiar w/ WWF/WWE, ECW, WCW & TNA but I have seen footage of Japanese wrestling in the past. This should be AWESOME! As for the brackets, they're setting up to be pretty interesting to say the least. I am a huge mark for Tanaka but Honky Tonk Man is a HEAVILY underrated wrestler. Another big match for me is Luger v Credible match, where I would say Luger would win but in the ECW Arena... Credible has to be the favorite. Onwards to the rest of the seeds.
