Wrestler You F****** Hate

Are we only talking now, or e...e...ever?

The only wrestler I've truly properly wanted to set on fire hated was X-pac.

Everything about him sucked. His look, his moves, his promos, his attire, his gimmicks, the works. Especially his horrific beard.

The way he kept wearing D-X colours, when no-one else was, summed him up. He knew that was the only reason people ever paid attention to him, and the writers just couldn't be bothered giving him something else to do.

I also hated the way JR would bang on about his 'educated feet' all the time too.

Anyway, as far as present day goes, I'm kind of past hating or loving wrestlers. I still enjoy watching it, and I've been watching a lot of older matches online recently, but I don't have the same passion for it as I did in the late 90's and early 00's.

That said, I don't like (and this will be a surprise) John Cena. I've only recently seen footage of him when he had his 'freestyle rapper' thing going on, and jesus h christ on a motorbike was it bad. He just couldn't rap a lick.

In his current guise, his look is weak, his matches are repetitive, and his promos are the same shit over and over again. The worst part about him is the superman thing, the 'getting beaten up, getting beaten up, getting beaten up, Cena Cena Cena, Cena wins!' thing is a terrible idea.

He's basically a kind of amalgamation of Stone Cold, The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels, but with none of the qualities those guys had.

Wait, maybe I do hate him. :icon_mrgreen:

Quite a few, I'd say.

1. Triple H - I never like him, or DX, to be honest (save the new age outlaws) and as the years go by I get more and more sick of him. The fact he's the bosses daughter kinda annoys me, as well, I mean... it's kind to hard to believe he's as successful as he is without some part of it being because he's in the family.

2. HBK - Same as ^. I just.. hated everyone in DX. The fact I'm a huge Hart mark and I worship Bret probably didn't really help for my dislike of Shawn. Sue me. -shrug-

3. Undertaker - I get a lot of shit for this one but meh.. it's hard for me to accept a guy that's played the same character for as long as I can remember. About, what, 15 years? "American bad ass though!" That was pure fail, in my opinion, and pretend it never happened.

4. Cena - Nothing against the guy really, I just absolutely can NOT stand him. at all. I've never liked him, even when smarks insist he was 'good when he had the rap gimmick as a mid-card' no. He sucked even then, sorry. I feel he has absolutely no talent whatsoever. Be it, in-ring or mic, just bad. But, still yet, he's a businessman/entertainer, not a wrestler. He doens't entertain me, either. I don't care, at all, for his recycled Hulk Hogan character.

5. EVERY WWE diva, save the 2-3 that can actually wrestle. Maryse, for example.

6. Jeff Hardy - I feel he's the more overrated Hardy. Matt is (or was) the better out of the two, im my opinion. I've always felt high flyers were guys that use their entire body as a weapon, not some guy that jumps off a ladder and.. that's.. about it. :) No mic skills, boring in-ring skills, pure shit.

7. Not a wrestler but Cole. Actually, raw's announce team, period. Honestly don't feel I even need to bother explaining this one.

8. John Morrison - I feel he's SO fucking overrated it's not even funny. I simply can NOT stand seeing him on my tv. He's even worse as a face; terrible mic skills, POOR POOR POOR POOR in-ring skills. Most of his moves even LOOK fake. I understand wrestling isn't really, but seriously? It's supposed to atleast LOOK real. He doesn't even fucking HIT his opponent with the starship pain or whatever it's called.

i wouldnt really call him a wrestler but i would say Hornswoggle, he really annoys me and i just want him gone, i know he appeals to the kids but he has run his course.

I f**king hate Mark Henry. Useless, boring, cannot wrestle a match to save his life, and it is just sooooo annoying that the guy has been under contract and making a sh*t load of money for about 10 years! This is when much more talented guys have been fired and this fat lump is still on the roster!

I can't wait to get train0-wrecked for this one, but I honestly can't stand a man that is more like an institution in professional wrestling... his name is Rob Van Dam.

I've just never understood his likability. I mean, I was never an avid follower of the original version of ECW. I never got a chance to see RVD flourish in that promotion. I missed his legendary runs as tag team champion with Sabu and his incredible run with the Television title. And I also missed his rise to stardom in the eyes of smarks all around the world.

By the time I heard of RVD, he was already a superstar to some. I noticed him when the WWE ran their first "invasion" angle with just ECW superstars. RVD faced (an extremely green) Jeff Hardy on Monday Night Raw and gave him a major ass whoopin. I thought he was pretty impressive, but he didn't really stand out in my eyes.

A few years later, ECW folded and he came over to the WWE. Then I noticed how popular he actually was, so I decided to research him and see what he was all about. I found out about his gimmick or angle. Was he a rock star? No. A scholastic athlete? No. A party animal? No. He was a fucking POTHEAD. And I said to myself, "That's it?!?" A man that played a laid-back pothead had a few, unique, high-flying moves, and all of a sudden he's taking the world by storm? I just didn't get it. And I still don't.

I think RVD is disgustingly overrated. I just can't get into him. When I see him on TV, I roll my eyes. I'm sure I'm one of the few with this opinion, but I'm sticking to it. I hate him.

Abyss

There has been nothing original about the guy he started out as a Mankind/Kane hybrid/ripoff now he's a Hulk Hogan rip off, the guy makes a living on using previous gimmicks. The best thing about him was James Mitchell and he's gone so we're left with this ******ed Hogan wannabe.

The sad thing is his ring-work is good and if he got an entirely new gimmick (completely different with no mention of Abyss at all) I might appreciate him.

I'm taking a different approach with this thread because I think it's ridiculous that some people here have legitimate hatred for the entertainers who injure themselves over and over and over again just so we can have something to watch on television.

Don't like their characters? That's cool. Think they are a waste of broadcasting space? Grow the fuck up, change the channel, go outside and do something constructive instead of bitch about someone you will most likely not meet in person.

My take on this thread is not about who I HATE as a competitor, but the HEELS that I love to hate. Get it? Not a big stretch, and hey who knows I might raise a few IQs since this thread is dropping them like flies.

Rowdy Roddy Piper: This guy is what all WWE heel superstars transpire to be in my opinion. He is rude, arrogant, wild, and just someone that people want to boo. He was unpredictable as they come, and gave the good fight to perhaps the biggest babyface in the history of wrestling: Hulk Hogan.

Vince McMahon: The Boss himself made us feel lower than low back in the era simply defined as "Attitude". Mr. McMahon had the power, and if you wanted to keep your job after Crossing The Boss you would have to join that particular group...Kiss His Ass Club. How much more could we have hated him for that? Hell he "screwed" Bret, carried an affair with the luscious Sable, and it was even rumored that he wanted to do an "incest" angle with Stephanie and Shane. Now THAT is fucked up.

The Rock: He was so bad he was good, just like Austin. The cheers he recieves now were not warranted in the Attitude Era, but by god they came. He was platinum on the mic; had the attitude and carried himself like a legend in the making would. "Rocky Sucks" was perhaps one of the loudest jeers any heel superstar ever got; but boy The Great One put asses in seats and the millions (and millions) tuned in to see where he would go next.

You see? This thread didn't have to be all about Anti-Cena and his so-called "5 Moves" or little Hornswoggle who really is in a league of his own...hopefully I shed new light on this thread. Hating someone and not the character they play is stupid.

Aaahaha, there are a ton of complete and total marks in this thread. Talking about hating CM Punk, Edge, and Chris Jericho? ROFL. Thank you for identifying yourself so I know not to take any and all of your future posts seriously, like, at all.

I don't hate anybody in the WWE. I don't wish death upon anybody in the WWE. Never have. Never will. Same goes for TNA, all pro wrestlers, and frankly just about every human being.

On the other hand, though, there are a few guys who I don't think deserve to be where they are, or even employed for that matter.

#1 is Rob Van Dam. He isn't good in the ring, he isn't good on the mic, but he's over with the crowd. Why? Because he's a stoner. Congratulations, you're the anti-CM Punk.

#2 is Jeff Hardy. Same can be said for him as what was said for RVD. He isn't good in the ring unless you like watching gymnastics performed onto other professional wrestlers, he isn't good on the mic unless you enjoy listening to incessant, incoherent, and irrelevant rambling, but he's super over with the crowd. Why? I have no goddamned clue. Maybe it's the face paint. Maybe it's the gymnastics. Hell, maybe it's just because he's different and has a unique look that stands out. Whatever it is, I don't buy into it and he does nothing for me.

#3 is TNA Management/Creative. They've got their top face playing a heel, their potential top absolutely psycho brutal heel turning into a babyface/tweener, and they've got a kane/mankind rip trying to be their top face. Oh, and they're effectively eliminating any and all things that they had that made them different and, dare I say better than the WWE. X Division is now a mere afterthought. Knockouts division is horrible. All real wrestling, or at least most of it, has gotten thrown out the window for old fucks and soap opera bullshit like Abyss trying (and succeeding) to win an escort from somebody who, frankly, is in a league or twelve above Abyss in terms of actual wrestling ability. Everything TNA management has been doing as of late, with one exception being firing BtLS, has been terrible, nonsensical, and frankly just plain fucking stupid.

And finally, #4 is whoever in WWE creative decided that they were going to fuck every heel in their business out of any and all credibility they ever had. Look at the results from Over the Limit. Out of 8 matches, 7 babyfaces won. The seventh match was the draw between Orton and Edge, but we all knew Orton was going to win that. Kofi Kingston beat McIntyre. R-Truth beat DiBiase. Mysterio beat Punk. Hart Dynasty beat ChrisMiz. Big Show beat Swags. Eve beat Maryse. Cena beat Batista. Are you kidding me? What ever happened to letting the heels get some credibility so they are perceived as serious threats to the babyface(s) that they are feuding with? It just doesn't make any goddamned sense to me that a PPV could be that one sided and it goes unnoticed by smarks the world over.

I hate the R-Truth gimmick. The whole rapping to the ring thing makes me mute the channel or change it. I like his in ring ability, but I F-ing hate the gimmick.

I hate Rey Mysterio. For me, his matches have just become predictable and stale. Look at a match from 5, 6, 7, years ago and tell me if anything is different.

Kofi's "BOOM BOOM BOOM" sucks balls. His look and gimmick (including ring music) distracts me from his talent. He is talented. I hate his role.

The Great Khali- needs wrestling school.
Vickie Guerro- too anoying. An amazing heat draw, but I can't stand her voice.
Hornswoggle- He'd be funny if he actually spoke.
Cena- as already stated. Hogan V 2.0
Chavo- Needs to take time off tv, get a new theme, and turn face, or the entire Guerro legacy dies.
David Otunga- like Khali, needs to go back to wrestling school.

I don't actually hate any of these people. They simply turn me off to the product. That doesn't mean all of them are bad. Cena and Vickie are excellent draws for the WWE right now, so I understand. The other 4 don't have the luxury of that exuse though.

Jeff hardy all he does is sit on his ass and do weed he was a waste of space for wwe while being paid heeps he has no mic skills and the only reason why anyone looks at him is because of his screwed up face paint and his strange hair one big mistake by wwe

I hate wasters Zack Ryder, Shelton benjamin and Charlie Haas. But One wrestler I hate the most is Rey Mysterio. How small can that guy be to even compete in a ring ?! Rey apparently took steriods .. fantasy island. Some of the divas like Beth Pheonix could beat him up easy.

I really hate Jack Swagger. Really, I just don't see what is so special about him. There are about 100 people in the midcard that they could push and they decide to push him. I mean, he is so stupid he takes a minute to unhook a briefcase! Seriously he is terrible on the microphone and I have never seen him but on a good match

This thread is a joke and all people who expressed FUCKING HATE towards some superstar that they DONT LIKE because they got a push and their favorite wrestler didnt are plain i would say stupid for even considering to HATE someone and just go on blablalbla about why is that guy there.Like this dude above me who said JAck Swagger never put on a good match....dude plz go back in your hole.HE might not be golden on the mic but he does put damn good matches. Why u think even if he was a jobber that they FROM TIME TO TIME put him in the matches with John cena and even Triple H (?) , cause they knew he coould put on a good match with them, even if it was clear he would lose.

Now onto what smarter people have done and say just stuff that i personally feel should be changed or people that shouldnt be here cause they are pure shit( and I mean that in the most NOT-Hateful way if it makes any sense ).

MVP - Ok he was OK as a heal he drew good heat, BUT he is by far one of the worst performers in term of good matches.I mean his matches are so boring and SLOW,and i mean SLOW, everything he does is slow as shit and the only good thing about him was his big boot in the corner and thats a bout it.His new finisher is kinda like shelton's,and it looks awkward and it's not really believe-able , plus ITS SLOW and looks like it doesnt do anything to his opponent, maybe if it was like shelton's with a little bit venom to it , it would look a bit more "OK". Ye this sounds like a rant but by all means, I like MVP(his heel character that is ), but his in-ring work is just slow and terrible and for me, he is a waste of space and there are tons of other people who should have his TV time.

John Morisson : I do not understand what everybody sees in this guy.Because he can do flips and knees to ZA face he is next HBK?His mic skills are 0,and i stress this,0!!He might be good as a heel which i hope he turns into when he comes back.HE always sound weird on the mic,,just sth about his voice i guess, and VERY VERY forced , and his smile is just ough...most fake smile that exists( not that im in the group of people that still doesnt know that wrestling is scripted ).But still he looks very weird and he is NOT OVER at all, he never get cheers.I have been watching every episode since he has turned face and he never got a AT LEAST pretty loud "Morisson chant".Hell the only time he had a lower-decent chant was when R-truth was in his corner signaling for people to cheer him ( thats just phatetic if u ask me ).Again this sound like a rant but its the naked truth, I absolutely love John Morrison's gymnastics skills but he aint Jeff hardy to pull that off.( not that hardy is any good although he is MODEST at the TOP ).

Drew Mcintyre : He has had countless matches even with people his size and all i see from him in every match is clothesline and i cant even remember anything else cause his matches are so boring. And his future shock DDt looks like the other person's head is going str8 for his cock.Hes ok i guess but he has to do more than that to show why he is the chosen one.I doubt he doesnt have any skills , i m sure he has nice moves in him but..if this is creative's way of turning him into Cena ( meaning limiting his move set to nothing ) then just let him rot in lower card and leave him be cause he is boring as hell, although i gotta say his accent is very nice and helps alot in his mic-skills-department.

I would say sth about Batista but hes gone and everybody knows why someone would wanna write about him in a thread like this.Although i dont wanna write about main-eventers cause that will end up being ..." I hate CEna 5 moves" , i hate triple H' no put over young talent ( although he does" ), and other stuff like that which somepeople though it was the purpose of this thread.

I'll go with the forum this is in (WWe) and pick their wrestlers that make me reach for the remote:

1) Bret Hart - Bret was a fantastic wrestler but I forgot just how monotonous he was on the mic and under NO circumstances should he be allowed in a match, Oi creative, he is not allowed to wrestle- stop booking him to, your insulting our intelligence!

2) The Great Khali - Ok, he's appeared in movies and he's massive in his own country but he can't wrestle OR do interviews. Please go!

3) The Big Show - Can't be arsed getting in sufficient exercise to look competent in the ring, his finishing move is grounds for immediately being DQ'd (a closed fist is still illegal). He's passible in tag matches, where he can come in with a couple of dominant strong spots.

4) Mark Henry - See The Big Slow

5) The Bellas - Why?

I realise that Vince doesn't like wrestlers, but these superstars ain't even sports entertainers!

Probably should've assumed a thread like this would have 14 pages.

One, this is maybe a silly gripe, but the OP asking us to name "the one guy" and then go on to say I can "name several" is a bit annoying. Then he said to point out number one wrestler I hate, so I guess I'll stick with that.

Before I start, let me say, I almost don't even hate Cena anymore. I HATE the WWE for shoving him down my throat for so long, but I hate them even more for shoving HHH down my throat for even longer, and honestly, at this point I'm exhaustedly apathetic at this point at hating the actual individuals.

That being said.

Number one:

Drew McIntyre.

I almost hate myself as much for falling into this trap of hating him that WWE devised. I don't believe he deserved the IC title at any point during his reign, I don't believe he deserved a bit of his push, and that's all part of his gimmick which maddens me to death (exaggerative, still currently sane and alive). The IDEA is that I'm "supposed" to hate him for walking into his spot above guys like Matt Hardy and Christian, and I do hate him, so that makes him a great heel. It's bull-ess MacMahon logic of intentionally lamp-shading the fictitiousness of professional wrestling to antagonize the IWC or any other guy who knows anything about wrestling (kind of what he's doing with Daniel Bryan Danielson)...or, in wrestling-speak, I'm talking about intentional kayfabe-shoot intertwining of calling attention to the fact the wrestling is all fake for the purpose of creating a heel out of somebody by putting them in the HHH-vein of a guy who gets pole-vaulted over the roster because he "has the connections." To me ends don't justify the means, but this is wrestling and X-Pac heat is still heat, ask JBL, he was the master of it; same token, Adolf Hitler would've been a great heel.

Other wrestlers I hate:
HHH- To me HHH is the Eagles of wrestling (classic rock; not Philadelphia); has anyone sucked so hard for so long with such success? HHH has been wrestling for 17 years, in the main event for over a decade of that, and I still haven't come anywhere close to liking any match he's ever been in. He's the heart of a dynasty of boring, awful wrestling that has gone on to spur the careers of Batista, Orton, DiBiase, Rhodes, and about ninety percent of FCW graduates (rough number, I mean to include everybody but Dolph Ziggler and maybe eventually Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, or Joe Hennig; if they can ever make it on). Orton is starting to actually get good, so I'm giving him a bye on the hate list.

Sheamus, Rhodes, DiBiase, Swagger- kind of goes back to what I said about HHH and most FCW guys. I'm starting to not hate Swagger so much in the ring. If he didn't have such a JBL-like bullshit title reign right now, I might take him off my hate list.

Mark Henry- Always manages to get a push every couple of years or so, has spent a decade of never deserving one.

R-Truth- I always hear such good things about him and, yet, strangely never see any of them. His ridiculous tornado elbow-thing finisher is just about the worst finishing maneuver I've ever seen. Has it ever even lightly grazed an opponent's temple?

Notable runner-ups

Cena- It honestly just takes too much effort out of me to hate him anymore. I've been Stockholm syndromed into accepting him as the man, the main event; I never watch any of his matches or promos, assume he's going to be in the main event most of the time, and just skip right over it all. He's like income taxes; you just learn that it's a fact of life and shrug about it.

Batista- My hate for him dwindles as I count the days remaining in his career. I almost want to say 'thank you' to him. Thank you for please leaving the industry and relieving me from having to fast forward through any more of your matches. Thank you for going away and giving me more opportunities to have a main event I can watch before erasing RAW from my DVR. I'm so happy about Batista leaving that it almost makes up for all of my time he wasted; like forgiving a drunk driver after I can finally walk again. It's all good, Batista, have a great retirement!

Great Khali- now that I know he's as serious of a wrestler as Santino or Chavo (two guys who deserve way better than WWE has been giving them the past couple of years) I really even wonder how he bothers anybody. He danced to Taco last week! If you hate Great Khali, you are misdirecting your anger severely; he can't wrestle his way out of a paper bag, I know, that's why he's dancing around in a top hat with a cane and kissing fat girls.

Hornswoggle.

For the love of God the guy has beaten Chavo like 9768756865 times already.
It's downright embarrassing that people actually cheer this steaming, stinking, Grade A pile of monkey's crap.
Not only does he completely degrade and destroy the rep of anyone he "beats", but he's not funny in the least.
If you've got 4 brain cells you can see that he's not funny.
For the love of everything that is holy WWE, get this idiot out of here.

I have been watching wrestling/WWE for 23 years now. And I cant find a guy I hate more than this fucking Cena guy. He's a clean corporate puppet, with limited wrestling ability, and highly highly overrated as a wrestler.

Cena is just damn lucky. He skyrocketed to the top because Austin-Rock left in 2003 and Lesnar-Goldberg left in 2004. Thats 4 huge main eventers the E lost. So Vince was left scrambling to have another main eventer. Of course thats what logic tells you to do. I just dont like this Cena guy and Ive never liked him. First he came out with those ugly basketball jerseys all the way down to his ankles. And now he's a big corporate puppet kissing babies. How ironic is that. From "thug" to corporate bitch.

He has no wrestling skills, wears the same corny orange shirt since October 2009.

I have come to terms that he is this generations Hulk Hogan. They have so many similarities, both always wearing the same corny clothing, have a 5 move set, and they always win. And yes they do get the shit kicked out of them here and there but they always have the last word in any feud they may be in.

At least Hogan used to take some time off away, to do movies or whatever. But this Cena guy is just getting hard to even look at.

Plus Ive heard that he was one of the guys responsible for this PG crap. He did this so it can match his cookie cutter gimmick. And it makes makes me hate him even more.

Has to be Orton for me. Not only have I met the guy twice and he has been a total wankstain on both occasions but he has a dull monotone voice, looks ******ed and his finisher is just the diamond cutter. I cannot understand what all the fuss is about.

I cant say that I hate Christian, but this guy looks older and skinnier every week. Its like he just quit working out. And that thing he does in his matches where he starts clapping to get the crowd clapping is just so ANNOYING. It makes me want to jump in the ring and tell him "stop doing that shit!"

His legs has gotten so skinny it looks like they're going to break any moment. The guy has to get his ass back in the gym if he wants to be even considered for a world title.

The one person i want gone forever out of the world of wwe is not a wrestler but Vickie G i can not stand her its so irritating her being anyway near wwe. As for wrestler i want Drew Mcintrye gone he is just detestable.

Drew Mcintyre

I got tired of his "chosen one" gimmick the second he said he was the chosen one. i consider almost all of his matches to be intermissions and i laughed my ass off after he lost against Matt Hardy in the MITB qualifying match right after getting his first lost expunged. He's a whiny b**ch that need a new gimmick.

Vickie G

Straight up annoying, fat prick. Her smug attitude makes me want to see Abyss give her a black hole slam on a bunch of tacks and broken glass. The only time I've ever liked her was when i saw her in a promo telling edge he's gonna be in a hell in a cell match w/ the undertaker at summerslam.

Michelle Mccool

Has no talent at all what-so-ever and i truly believe she's one of the many reasons why the womens/divas division sucks so much right now. Btw she looks like an anorexic tranny.

Alicia Fox

I don't even know why she's still in the WWE. Boring to watch, hear, and i just plan can't figure out why the WWE still has her when she literally does NOTHING

David Otunga

WTF is he even doing here!? he sucks as a wrestler and i can't stand ANY of his promos. + i thought he was a f**king idiot for not winning the tag team titles w/ john cena. Does he even realize that could have given him bragging rights almost though out the entire season!?

P.S. no offense to anyone I'm just stating my honest opinion

Ok, first of all. Anybody who FUCKING HATES any wrestler takes Pro wrestling WAAAYYYYY too seriously. These guy's put there bodie's on the line for us every frickin night, They deserve some respect. I also find it stupid how some people think Cena only know's how to do 5 moves....In the words of miz....Really?

Here is some proof for all you uneducated marks of cena's true Wrestling ability.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ljm0WPHkv8

Ok.....he's no bret hart, but calling him the "worst wrestler ever" is beyond ridiculous.

All that being said..... I do have a couple of wrestlers that I have never really cared for personally. I respect them, But I have just never really enjoyed watching them on my television.

-Brian Kendrick- I dont know what it is about this guy but he really annoy's the hell out of me. I dont know if it's his look or that stupid "THE brian kendrick" persona he had, but the guy has alway's given me the impression that he was an arrogant prick. I'm sure he's probably a nice guy in real life, But I just dont enjoy watching him on TV.

- Mark Henrey- Dont get me wrong, I dont hate mark henrey in anyway. Back during the attitude era he was actaully alot more in shape then he is now (He was still kinda fat) but he atleast moved around the ring semi-fast. But Lately his matches have really bored the hell out of me, I actaully burst out with laughter when he tries to run becuase he run's sooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow. I've met the guy in person and he is incredibly nice, and I'm sure if he lost weight he could put on a good match. But as of now I dont enjoy watching him on TV.

- Drew mcinytre- This guy has slightly grown on me over time but I am still not a fan. His mic skills are not terrible but he need's to put more enthusiasm in his voice. There is just something about the guy that makes me want to turn off my TV when he comes on screen, I cant really put my finger on it.

I do respect all wrestler's though for putting there bodies on the line every night just for our entertainment. :) :) :)

I used to hate hornswoggle the most but they don't showcase him in the same way so it's not as bad as it was but ever since M.V.P. turned face I can't stand him ,the boring mic skills as a face combined with one of the worst finishers currently in the business is a recipe for pure hatred.

I think it's his enthusiasm and the accent...it just seems he puts it on a little thick. His entrance sets the tone. Almost puts you to sleep and then he hits the mic with a sleepy Scottish accent.
