If you could meet any wrestler.......

Simmer down and pucker up...
.....who would it be?

This thread could go one of two ways, on the one hand people could hate it :disappointed: but on the other hand people might like it :).

We have all got our favourite wrestlers, we respect many wrestlers but if you had to pick one wrestler to meet who would it be?

Please keep your answers restricted to WWE wrestlers.

I'll post my answer later on.

So the questions I want you to answer are:

1) Which wrestler would you meet?

2) Why?

3) What would you say to them?

4) What would you ask them?

I enjoy reading your responses.

Getting this passed the forum fehrers could be tough.

I've already had the pleasure of actually meeting few of the recent former Indy star recruits before they joined WWE. It's amazing what you can achieve with a polite manner and being in a wheelchair at UK wrestling events lol. So far I've meet: Danielson, Sydel/Bourne, Kaval, Seamus and Drew McIntyre/Galloway.

Of the current rosters, I'd have to go with Rey Mysterio. Redefining Cruiserweight wrestling in the US, twice, makes him leagend. But, as for what to say, it's tough; not because being a wrestler makes him 'special' but because he's been through so many rough events in the business.

I'd like to know what was and is the feeling in the locker room about the Benoit saga. But more personal, I'd like to know how he felt doing the story involving his son Daniel and then later involving Chavo and Vicki following the death of EG. I don't think there's been a more distasteful subject execution then the EG legacy. I know Vicki needs to earn a crust, likewise Chavo, but the falling stories have been horendous. I think people need to avoid missing the real stories in the sea of soap opera shit flowing from creative.

Aside from that, I'd also like to know what similarities and differences can be seen in the behind the scenes work currently at WWE compared with WCW.

Pax Vobiscum.

In the WWE right now?? There isnt many I would be that desperate to meet any more. Probably Triple H or Undertaker as they are the only real legends there right now. They always say don't meet your heroes but if you get the opportunity to meet someone you are a fan of, you dont say no do you?! lol

I would probably ask them which is the most painful finisher you have ever taken, and how long do they think they will keep going in the WWE.

I met Bret a few years ago, and he said Nash's Jack Knife Powerbomb was easily the most devastating finishing move to take. He was a nice bloke too, no arrogance at all

This would be a tough one. I think Nash would be at the top of my list. He would be a blast to meet and hang out with. He seems like he would be a lot of fun.

I think that JBL and Kane would also be fun to meet and talk to as they are more intelligent than a lot of people know or realize.

If i could have met one wrestler and just hung out for a day, i think it would have been Andre the Giant.

I think it would have been both amazing and sad to witness his daily life. Because of his size it was impossible for him not to be the center of attention. He lived his entire like without knowing obscurity.

From the stories we have all heard, Andre did what he wanted, when he wanted. He could be gentle and he could be stubborn. His drinking and eating habits were legendary.

Besides i would love to see just how big he was, I'm sure videotape does not do the man justice.

I would ask him, if its true that he was wavering on losing to Hogan. I personally think Hogan was full of shit, when he said, he thought Andre was going to double-cross him, and was thinking about going over him.

I think Jericho may be a good shout too, he seems like a fun guy who is up for a few beers and a laugh. His book makes him come across as a pretty cool guy. I would just probably chat to him about rock/metal music

Also, I know he isnt in the WWE any more but gotta show Mick Foley some love. From all accounts he is a really nice guy, and seems like someone who wouldnt be a dick if you went to speak to them. I cant see Foley being rude to his fans.

I would ask Mick why he wanted to get involved in those exploding ring death matches in Japan, noone forced him to do it and I am sure he would have made enough money wrestling regular matches or doing something that didnt involve slicing himself to pieces and getting C4 burns all over his arms. Crazy son of a bitch

If I could meet any wrestler but had to pick only one then it would probably be John Cena simply because he is my favorite and has been for almost a decade. I would tell him that it's awesome how he was able to accomplish his dream and is able to go out there every day doing what he does. I'd probably ask for an autograph and if he could help me get a guest host spot on Raw one week, I could promote my video game or something because all the other guests for the most part had some other product they wanted to promote alongside their appearance on Raw. I know that would never happen but a guy can dream and that's my answer to the question.

PLEASE NOTE: IT CAN BE ANY WRESTLER FROM ANY PERIOD OF TIME FROM ANY COMPANY!!!

I just changed it because this thread has been moved to the General Wrestling Discussion section.

Anyway I'll now post my answer:

I would meet Jeff Hardy or Matt Hardy. If I had to choose between the two it'll probably be Jeff because he's my favourite wrestler of all time.

Why?

Because he's my favourite wrestler of all time and is sometimes the only reason I watch any wrestling.

What would I ask?

If he would ever bring Omega back, maybe as a developmental territory for TNA. Also what he prefers to be, a face or a heel.

I just think he would be a great guy to hang out with (except for his drug taking), I'm also quite similar to him so I think it would be easy talking to him about motorcross, wrestling, music and pretty muh being a free spirit.

First of all, I really like this post as it's something that many of we fans have thought of, I'm certain. In my case, there are three wrestlers in particular that I wish I could just sit down and have a conversation with.

The first one is Kane (Glen Jacobs).

Why?: Besides being one of the greatest straight performers the WWE has ever had, I've heard a few candid interviews he's given and he seems a very down-to-earth friendly guy. He seems to be a pleasant person just to hang out with and have a chat. I'll bet he has many stories to tell.

The second is The Undertaker (Marc Calloway).

Why?: I suppose it would be to simply be able to converse with him as he is rather than as his persona. We've all seen him perform and he's kept his true personality so private as to not spoil the illusion (as I understand, he's very big on keeping it kayfabe) so I'd like to meet with him as he truly is.

Third is Mick Foley.

Why?: As with Kane, I've seen a bit of who he is through the many interviews he's given. This man who's done such absolutely insane things seems a very straightforward and sane guy when he's just having a conversation and also strikes me as one of the more intelligent and humble of wrestlers.

What Would I Ask? Pretty much the same thing in all three cases. I'd want to know a few of their stories of how they came up in the business. I'd want to know some of those major moments that really had an impact on them. In Kane's case, I'd also ask if his past as a school gym teacher factored in with his understanding of ring psychology and with 'Taker...I'd just want some of those stories of how he came to bring his immortal character to life. Mostly though, with all three, I'd just like to hang out and have a laugh.
