What she said. No, but that's because I don't post in the wrestling sections because I rarely watch a lot of wrestling. I do go to other forums where the spam rules in the wrestling sections are MUCH more relaxed and it's a funner atmosphere. There's good discussion, sometimes the thread can go off topic, but there's so much activity none of the mods really freak out about it.

And by relaxing the spam rule, you'd be unable to think out your arguments?I like the fact that I have to think out my arguments before I post them in those particular sections. I personally think that where the most opportunity lies in terms of improvement is the Live Discussion/Spam Zone.
And by relaxing the spam rule, you'd be unable to think out your arguments?
To be honest. No. Too man people would say.
"I like Rey Mysterio. He is a good wrestler who sells decently enough. I think he will win the title."
and THAT. Is WAY too much for my brain to comprehend seeing every 3-5 posts.
The reason you don't have more interesting topics is because people aren't wanting to put in the time.I try to post as much as I can in the wrestling sections. The only thing that keeps me from doing it more is the lack of interesting topics at times - or the topics that just become "I want to say I don't like a popular guy and wait for everybody to agree with me". The whole "so and so was popular, but now I hate him, so let's bash him" concept is something I don't participate in, so that's what prevents me from posting a lot in those sections.
Except it's not going to be like that, and wouldn't have to be like that. Spamming WOULD NOT be allowed, just what constitutes spamming changes.Spam being allowed in there would make it worse, I think, as you'd be getting lots of posts that are just "Cena sucks" or "I want Matt Hardy to be world champion" with no real thought.
Quality > Quantity.
What's your incentive now? The enjoyment of posting? No, but what would be the incentive of putting any effort into your posts then?
See, your comment is EXACTLY the problem. People don't understand the difference between relaxing spam, and allowing spam.If I see a bunch of people posting something similar to "Kofi Kingston is badass and he reminds me of Bob Marley. He deserves the title!," then I wouldn't think that they would actually take the time to read posts that are a little more fleshed out. Furthermore, your arguments would get lost in the shuffle.
No it wouldn't.If you had spam posters, it'd be harder to find the arguments that were well thought out.
No, you wouldn't. That'd be spam. That's just a minor irritation, but I do think we'd see people trying to bump threads a lot by just saying things like "interesting" or "good points, but Cena still sucks" or whatever.
It's worked at wrestling forums before, it'll work here.

I'd say instead of a week, make it a month or two. Give it a fair trial.Lets do it for a week or so and see how it goes. If it works keep it, if it doesn't change it.
LOLjust do not be too relaxed. I enjoy having posts where there are quality posts after quality posts. that is why WrestleZone is an elite forum for wrestling.
