Spam definition in non-wrestling forums?

Then why bother with the non spam one?

And, obviously, I'm not the only who has said that, considering the spam version has almost 100 more posts than the non spam one is less than a month, compared to a year and several months in the non spam one.

As I said, the non spam one is for serious discussion. If I broke the non spam one down to each sentence having its own post, like the spam one is, that would have more posts.

IM sure Sly is female now. Along with Becca. becuase girls are all down with redundantly arguing in circles until one of them dies from emaciation.

Why's it important all the sections get posts?
What's the point of having them if they don't?

But, that really isn't a valid statement, because there's no saying the same person making a 6 sentence paragraph would post 6 times. But, what you can be assured of is that they don't get near as much traffic as the Bar Room.

Its not. Sly is just bored.
Actually, not really. If that were truly the case, I'd say so.

I just started posting again on a forum I used to post at a lot, and I notice just how much better it's non wrestling sections are compared to WZ, in terms of quality and amount of discussion.

And, I just thought I'd offer a suggestion to improve it here.

You can ask Brian Becker. He'll probably tell you the same thing, because he knows what forum I'm talking about.

The thing everyone always talks about is preserving the quality of the discussion, but there really isn't that much quality to the discussion in the non-wrestling sections. And that's just the truth. Not a criticism, just truth.

Because people come to the bar room to just 'relax' and have a laugh.

I beg to differ on this statement. If you spent half the time I do in the Non Wrestling sections you would see many quality posts and discussions.

They get posts. Not as much as a thread where you could say something like, "I fart my brains out at night". Doesn't make them redundant. Half the posts in TDK spam thread are my one-liners, yelling about spoilers. Also, the TDK non-spam thread is getting plenty of posts. The Bar Room is just incredibly busy. It's not like we chat about games or even movies much here. If we do, most of it is incoherent nonsense.

Umm, I spend almost my entire time in the non-wrestling sections, thank you very much.

But, no I don't post a lot there. Want to guess why?

200 posts in approx 500 days isn't exactly a good posting rate.

The Bar Room is just incredibly busy.
Many times with things that could go other places.

It's "anything" goes. It'd make more sense to make bar room rules stricter - i.e. "No threads which belong elsewhere" - than to loosen the rules of everywhere else.

Why not do both?

I still can't understand where this thinking comes from that the forums will suddenly decay into 8 year old speech by loosening the spam restrictions. Especially since they would be held to a higher standard of posting than the Bar Room.

And no one seems to mind Bar Room discussion too much.
