World Cup LD

Great game, glad that Germany won. I hated argentinian football on this championship with bunker defence and offence that can rarely score(which we saw here because they didnt even had a shot on target)...

Messi isnt even close to best player but he got it anyway. Last 3 games you couldnt even see him so its kinda ridiculous for him to be player of the tournament just because his team advanced to Finals and Fifa for some reason considers him all time great and 100% his fault that Argentina was in Final lol. Fun statistic is that only Romero in Argentinian team has not outran Messi. He doesnt even try and run and yet Fifa gives him one of the most prestige awards ever lol

The better team won. Messi winning the player of the tournament is a farce. He was great in the first 4 games but really didn't do much after. Should have been either Mascherano, Muller or Kroos for me.

Oh and this is still funny. Who needs Paul the Octopus?

Best team won as everyone has said, but more importantly, football won. Grass roots investment, cheap tickets, community/fan ownership and proper, entertaining football. Might not have the best individuals, but you'll hard pressed to find a better squad overall. I was afraid they'd join the ranks of Holland 74 or Brazil 82 or even Hungary 54 as the best to never win the big one, but they did it and I am chuffed to pieces.

I've been trying to buy Bundesligue tickets, with a view to go on a holiday in Germany (German being my only near-passable foreign language), but I just can't figure out how to buy the fuckers.

To be honest, you can easily walk into a few different places (tourism centres, team shops etc...) and just straight up buy a ticket with no fuss whatsoever.

Hmm. Good advice.

They are either sold out, or your German isn't as good as you thought

My German is not good. I know yes, no, numbers, the alphabet, how to say "I would like," how to say "I don't understand," how to say "How do you say...?" and how to ask how much something costs.
