Germany looked better, played better, controlled the game. As Murphy said on the Beeb, it looked like the French were playing a group stage game. They lacked the desire, the want and the urgency let alone the attacking prowess.

Germany deserved their spot and now we see who they play; best team of the tournament vs. the hosts. Should be good.

No Luis Gustavo for Brazil could be the difference here. Very quiet player but has been fairly consistent from what I've seen of him.
