Will Ziggler hold onto MITB past WM29?

I think and have thought this for a while now that Ziggler will cash in and win at Mania no matter who comes out on top. This will be Ziggler's defining Mania moment. Even if the heel Swagger wins the title he and Ziggler have history both being managed by Vickie. After cashing in on Swagger he would say he was always the better of the two and I think they could have a pretty good feud going forward. We all have wondered when they would pull the trigger on Ziggler, and I think we have been kept waiting so he can have his big Mania moment.

This is a tough one to call, Ziggler said he will cash in before Mania but he's a heel so that doesn't really mean anything, and I'm not sure a triple threat of Ziggler vs Del Rio vs Swagger is a good idea as they seem bent on the racism angle and Dolph just clouds those waters.

Jericho isn't around for a few weeks so there is no feud there right now so I'd just have Dolph make a few failed cash-in attempts over the next few shows, this gives WWE a chance to strengthen the Del Rio & Ricardo team as they find ways to prevent the cash-in, then a couple of weeks before Mania I'd have Dolph cut a promo about how it's a disgrace that he's not booked for the biggest show of the year, out comes Jericho and that sets up their Mania match, Dolph wins and later in the night cashes in on Swagger to pop the crowd who will probably be feeling groggy.

Dolph gets his first WrestleMania moment!

Here's my problem: I'm torn between what should happen and what I'm most certain will happen.

The WWE has a way of politely screwing over its talent, if only to please more marketable talent for purely childish reasons.

I expect, knowing as much as I do about the backstage political situation, that the WWE will attempt to unwrite John Cena's inability to win the belt with his MITB briefcase.

I expect that they will have Dolph challenge the winner of the Del Rio vs Jack Swagger match, and lose clean. The idea of this makes me sick to my stomach as I know that Dolph has been paying more dues than a lot of people he's forced to job to and his only push as of late had been having AJ next to him.

Dolph loses clean, the website blows it out of proportion, John Cena is exalted.

Not a Dolph Ziggler fan, but this WHC feud isn't getting it done. Colter's somewhat entertaining, but no one cares about Swagger, and by extension, no one cares about an angle that should be drawing an insane amount of heat. Combine that with Del Rio being nowhere near as over as WWE would like him to be and you have a real dud heading into. Mania.

I think Ziggler is awful, but him cashing in at Mania would be far more interesting than what we have now.

Why should it be drawing heat? Creative has gone half-ass with a promising storyline. The only thing that has happened the past 2 weeks is Del Rio and Rodriguez doing embarrassingly unfunny parodies of the Swagger/Colter videos.

They've seemed to pull in the reigns on Colter ever since the Glenn Beck thing. He's said nothing that can be considered "controversial". A lot of what he says is factual, but is saying it in a "mean" way. They need to have him start being more "out there" and stop making so much damn sense if they want people to hate him.

It should be drawing heat because it's a major national issue (international, including Mexico). You have someone being blatantly xenophobic and that tends to irritate people. It's not. Creative has half-assed it, but the words should still draw heat. No one listens to Swagger, and Del Rio isn't selling it well. The whole thing stinks.
