Who in The WWE has the best IN RING ability

Shelton Benjamin does know a lot of moves even though he tends to botch them half the time but he doesn't have the best in-ring ability by far. He couldn't get a crowd entertained to save his life and the only reaction he gets from the fans is when he jumps off a ladder. Granted he has been doing better since turning face, but he still has a while to go. I have some confidence in Benjamin though but it is not a lot.

After watching some recent matches of Bryan Danielson, I feel that he can immeadiatly step into the WWE and be on the short list of in ring ability. Seeing his wide open move set makes me wonder if guys that don't work the indies can't pull off these moves or simply don't.

I still believe that if the book was wide open, Shawn is still the standard. It's getting to be a tougher question to consider simply for the fact that a 10 minute match on WWE tv is getting to be a rare occurance.

Shelton Benjamin wins this for me, athletically gifted is an understatement, he's a wrestling machine. Though he only just tops Jericho who understands a match more than most and always gives us a great one. I'd love to see Shelton finally get a world title push, even a shot, I dont remember him having one since Unforgiven 2008 when he didn't even get a fall in the Scramble match. Shelton doesn't need a gimmick, he needs to be serious and taken seriously.

There is more to in ring ability than how many moves you can do. The actual "wrestling" is only half of a good wrestling match. There is also the storytelling aspect, the ability to get the audience sucked into it, etc. If you look at both aspects to a match, HBK has to come out on top. Is he the best technical wrestler? No. He is close, but, there are others than can out "wrestle" him. But, when it comes to storytelling during a match, NOBODY comes close to the Heartbreak Kid. If it were just technical skill, I would go with someone like Morrison, Benjamin, or Mysterio, but when you add the two skillsets together to get an all-around wrestler, HBK is in a league of his own. HBK combines the two skills better than anyone else.

That is because he sucked back then. What people don't understand especially about Shelton Benjamin is that he can wow you with two or three moves in a match but can he make you care about the match itself? I haven't seen anybody cheer wildly in a match Benjamin is in unless who he is facing is better than he is. Benjamin has a long way to go before I consider him to be in my top 3 of in-ring ability.

chris jericho. all day, everyday he can go technical hih fly, grapple, brawl, hardcore, entertain, put the focus of the story in the match as important as the match itself, he is the best all rounder in wwe, from a entertaining wow stand point, john morrison, does things people will never try,and is a awesome bump taker.
